Of course, I'd like to add that if the U.S. economy collapses, that leaves China, Russia, and to a lesser extent India as emergent superpowers. The E.U. will be too busy learning to pay for its own defense and trying to sustain itself to fill in the gap left by the U.S. So what does that say about the future of Israel? Take a walk through Beijing, count the number of synagogues and then answer. Or maybe you prefer the way Russia's traditionally behaved toward it's Jewish population.
