I fail to understand why Israel needlessly risks its special relationship with the US with these criminal acts. It angers me to no end to think that, as an american tax payer, some of my tax money goes to Israel and funds Israels spy operations against my country. We support you overtly. Why stab us in the back covertly???

Mr. Obermeier, do you honestly think that US has no spies in Israel? In UK? In Germany? etc... This is all just normal run-of-the-mill stuff. All countries spy on each other. Ron, you say that after Pollard's arrest, the Israeli government banned "any intelligence activity in the US." Surely that should read "any activity against the US"? The reason Pollard got a long jail term is not that he worked with Israeli intelligence inside the US, but that he, an American, worked with them against the US. And so, it appears, has Kadesh.
