What the Libyan's were stating was an Islamic fact. These are different from facts as understood in western culture as they do not require any support from real evidence. To be an Islamic fact, something simply has to fit the requirement that it would suit what muslims would like to believe to be true OR that it would be really useful to they cause if gullible westerners and the even more gullible arab street, believed it to be true.

If Israel wanted to commit genocide and wipe out the Palestinians in Gaza it would have been over a long time ago. Israel clearly has the military means to do it.
