I accept that the Brits tried to keep the Arabs quiet by keeping a quota of Jews allowed to come to Israel - 15,000 per annum but that is 15 times the number the USA allowed into the States during the War!!!! Unwilling to extend aid and increase the quota Jews who fled Europe to the USA were sent back to Europe!!!! Incidentally - yes there are very badly informed Brits who are trying to boycott Israel and it distresses me, but what about the Hate Fests on US campuses whereby students organise festival of hate against Jews in the name of free speech. I think the expression is "people in greenhouses"!
