31. 19 Ari: Much of Christian RELIGIONS is a fraud.
Rivkah   (05.05.08)
But Christianity itself is not a fraud. For every truth of God, the devil has a counterfeit. It is the counterfeit most people are familiar with and is a fraud, as you say. The Lord has a Sabbath, the seventh day. The devil has a counterfeit sabbath, the first day. If you can obtain a copy of Mary Walsh's essays comparing the Bible truths to the church counterfeits, you will learn there is a great difference between Christian RELIGIONS and Christianity. The person I purchased a copy of Mary Walsh's essays from got them from the Library of Congress in Washington, D. C. by copying them. That is how hard it is to find them. They are that damning of RELIGION.

Ineresting points. I never knew that such opinions existed. Have they been verified or are they in the realm of educated guesses? Given the obscurity of the life of Jesus (especially the gap between ages of 12 and 30), I would be inclinded to think that these are educated guesses. As a point of interest, in Islam, Satan is part of God's plan and acts according to his will; luring away the most easily corruptible souls. The greatest trick that Satan plays on mankind is that he appears to rebel against God, but on Judgement day declares that he has always been faithful to God - by carrying out a thankless task. I'm not Muslim by the way, but I did have a Muslim education. Thanks anyway, it refreshing to be able to discuss without having to resort to insults, simply because we're on opposing sides of the fence!
33. Regurgitating an old hoax... pathetic!
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (05.05.08)
While the Priory of Sion - a 20th century hoax - can easily be proved as a a pathetic lie, the fact that Jesus may or may have not had children cannot be proved - hence, it has became a cool subject for fiction. What is infuriating though is that all these hoaxes try to reverse the principle of archeology and documented history by hinting that "if something cannot be refuted, then it must be true" - which is of course utter (and sometimes criminal) nonsense. What makes anybody think that a mediocre film-makes (donning the questinable laurels of "amateur archaeologist") can make a discovery rivaling Einstein's Relativism? Bloodline is dangerous not because of the story - but because it claims to be true! Unfortunately there will be enough imbeciles around to fall for it! See this for a bit more information before you start your search for Jesus's Bloodline and bottles with hints yourself! http://www.rlcresearch.com/2008/05/02/bloodline-fiction/

I have no intention to see this film as its only intention is to create scandal. On the other hand, even as a believer in God, I have no faith in any religion as they are created and dictated by men. Mankind has done uncountable atrocities in the name of religion for centuries from crucifixions, burning innocents , all the way up to exploding planes into buildings and doing suicide bombings in public places…. Is this Gods will???Not in my book!!!

I agree that it was very unlikely that she was a prostitute. She was from Magdala, which had prostitutes, and the verses in the bible were somewhat close together so it had been somewhat thought in some circles that she was one, however the woman named as a reformed sinner was from a different town. (who also had the alabaster jar, and who was named as Mary of Bethany in John). Other things about Mary of Magdale in bible is that she traveled with Jesus's entourage through Galilee, along with the other women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities and it says that they gave money to help out. I get the overall impression that she was very devoted. It doesn't say in bible if she was wealthy or not, however being comfortable or poor was perhaps considered better. She next appears in the bible at the crucifiction and then at the tomb. When she met him at the tomb and they had the speaking exchange in which he said her name and she realized he was alive, her sadness turned to joy. All things considered she was a very loyal, dedicated and caring follower.

Psalms 83 ,   Selah   (05.06.08)
As a Christian I agree that there have been atrocities commited in the name of religion .... those that commited that will stand before God on judgement day .... all too often the world sees these kind of horrorendious acts but fails to see the greater good done by millions of everyday christians around the world (helping the poor ,providing relief in disasters ect)...chrirstians that abhor the very same atrocities that the world sees...these are christians that does not see christianity as a religion but rather a relationship with christ who died for thier sins. Jesus spoke of many things ...love for one another ,being your brothers keeper, turning the other cheek , meekness And the Judgment and tribulation to come. Christ would rather all would come to him...but he knew because many would demand thier right of way ,that they would reject his message and offer of salvation (even some wannabeChristians) . this rejection like violating the law of gravity has its consequences. as with the law of gravity a person is free to jump off the cliff or stay put and be safe ...that person is free to accept what jesus did for him or her on the cross or reject it ....A Free choice which should never be forced on anyone. ...But that does not mean it should not be offered .
37. Rivka, if Jesus is G-d incarnate......
John ,   USA   (05.06.08)
why in heaven would he need to be baptised with his own spirit? I think your a little confused. More Roman propaganda concerning a Jewish man.

made a mistake or sin in ignorance. Something that is perfect like G-d, doesn't need something added or taken away from it to be perfect....it already IS. Jesus had to die to be PERFECTED (free from his flesh / sin).
39. Rivka...besides doesn't the NT say that John Baptism was a
John ,   USA   (05.06.08)
Baptism for repentance of sin? I think Jesus knew he wasn't as perfect as G-d (no one is), and at some point probably sinned in ignorance, and went through a spiritual type mikvah (as some Jewish sects held at that time) for cleansing.
