redmike ,   Tel Aviv, London, LA   (04.27.08)
"Hamas militiamen in the Gaza Strip on Sunday attacked fuel trucks headed toward the Nahal Oz border crossing, forcing them to turn back, sources in the Palestinian Petroleum Authority said. The fuel was supposed to go to the UN Relief and Works Agency [UNRWA] and hospitals in the Gaza Strip, the sources said. "Dozens of Hamas militiamen hurled stones and opened fire at the trucks," the sources added. "The trucks were on their way to receive fuel supplied by Israel. The drivers were forced to turn back. Some of them had their windshields smashed".

Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (04.28.08)
6. Why doesn't hamas martyr the fuel association?

Seems like a win--win for everybody.
7. The lies are getting obvious
Rowan Berkeley ,   London, England   (04.28.08)
Indeed it flatly contradicts JPost's account , which is not agency-based. Only readers of hebrew and arabic (of which I am sadly not one) are able to assess the open source material at this point, because the entire english-language press seems to be lying to itself and to us.
8. Do the Arabs of Gaza prefer terrorism?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (04.28.08)
Over sixty-five percent of Arabs in Gaza support continued suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, according to a report released Monday by the Arab Jerusalem Media and Communication Center. Sixty-nine percent are "pessimistic" or "very pessimistic" about reaching any peaceful settlement with Israel. More at : http://xrl.us/bjoje
9. Ynet : are you looking at the same situation
peter ,   France   (04.28.08)
Today even EU ooficials condemn Hamas efforts to disrupt the deliveries by Israel, and you praise Hamas to be a good pupill? Have you becomed the official paper of BEILIN???????

The lies in press reports from the Middle-East are nothing new. All of the agencies, CNN, BBC, use Arabs as "stringers" - and the reports are all spin, manipulations, or out-right lies. Reuters is probably among the worse. Al-Jazeera is a propaganda outfit for Jihad, generally, although sometimes they get some good insightful reporting. But in the West, particularly Europe, you are fed a ton of BS from your politically correct (&biased) media who are experts at Israel-bashing. I just read the JPost version of the Gaza fuel "crisis" & yes, it is the complete opposite of this account from Reuters. Just a while ago, the UN blamed (of course) Israel for the fuel crisis - the usual sob-story, oh, the poor Palestinians are suffering BS, we can't distribute food, BS, BS - oh, the terrible Israelis are causing a humanitarian crisis, BS, BS. (Excuse the language but in this case BS is more appropriate than etc.) --- And you misguided Europeans eat this up -
11. hamas pleads
abu sultan ,   timbucktoo   (04.28.08)
# 4 Jerome not so loud hamas infront of the whole world are pleading with Israel for a ceasefire LOL when hamas bleed they plead. well done IDF continue to bleed them
12. this should be abbas's job, not hamas's
(04.28.08)
its peculiar that israel is accusing hamas and the association of preventing fuel supply when the association itself (the workers themselves) declare that the reason why they are on strike is the limited supplies (which is israel's fault i.e. the siege of anything incoming and outgoing) so that means hamas has nothing to do with the fuel supply; in contrary, and especially with this article, it looks as they are trying to solve it.
