It's Wednesday... Time for another "poor Palestinian died because of callous Israel" story. Ynet - like Haaretz - seem to recycle these stories, just changing a name or two. But they all miss the point. Israel has NO OBLIGATION to care for Gaza's sick. They can be generous at their own discretion. Israel's taxpayers shouldn't bear the financial cost, nor is Israel obligated to ignore security concerns, especially as some past "patients" have tried to kill Israelis. Let them go to Egypt.

It is a shame on his own people that they would rather spend what little money they have on military arms rather than build hospitals. This is what an Israeli news media, like Ynet, should report. There's no law that terrorists have to come to their enemies' hospitals, but THERE IS A LAW that terrorists must be kept out of here. All I can say is Thank GD I am not a Palestinain and I was given prompt treatment for my cancer and I am considered"cured". I think it is immoral for a person suffering from cancer not to be able to get treatments that could save their lives no matter what their nationality! My question is that why didn't the doctors also try to get him treatment in Jordan or Egypt since they are well aware of the slowness of the Israel security checks? Had this man been sent to a neighboring Arab country he might have been saved!

Certainly a terminally ill patient posed a dire threat to Israel's security, yeah that the ticket, he was a threat to security, yeah; that’s my story and I'm sticking to it. Of course the victim was denied access to treatment elsewhere due to Israel's illegal occupation, but that is not mentioned by the Israeli regime that clearly sees the lives of non Jews as less worthy than those of Jews. Never mind that it is Israel's obligation as a belligerent occupier to proved such treatment, or the fact the Israeli regime denies medical supplies, bombs Palestinian hospitals and prevents the innocent victims of their immoral occupation access to healthcare elsewhere, it is all about ethnic cleansing, and that is something the Israelis are proving themselves to be the most capable bastards in the world.

A patient who is suffering from brain cancer has nothing to lose by blowing himself up and taking Israelis with him. He goes out in a blaze of glory AND he puts an end to his suffering. "Denied access to treatment" - Why is Israel REQUIRED to provide treatment to people of another "nation"??? Is there some reason the cancer patients can ONLY go to Israel for treatment? Are there reasons they have NO PLACE else to go? I thought Egypt had good hospitals?
