As the Bible further teaches, Abraham's direct descendents were Isaac and Ishmael and later from Issac came Jacob. So as you can see many people of many religions are the descendents of Abraham and have the same valid claim you cite. Modern genetics has proven that Palestinians are just as much the descendents of Abraham as Jews, and more so than many Jews who are in reality just descendents of Europeans who converted to Judaism. Johan, I don't know what "Bible" you are reading, but it is not the Torah- the original. Modern Genetics also prove that all humans are related to each other. Abraham, the first JEW, and was the father of many nations. However, The land of Israel was given only to Israel, and his descendants. You also seem to forget Moses.
