1. Hamas Not a Dialogue Partner
Stephen ,   Boston (USA)   (05.04.08)
I could not have stated this any more clearly. Israel should never enter into any dialogue with a group such as Hamas which does not recognize her right to exist and is bent on her destruction. And, to think that Hamas is now threatening Israel to accept its temporary truce offer (or else).... Get real Hamas!
2. You make it sound like
Miriam ,   Israel   (05.04.08)
Abbas/Fatah is any better. If anything, they're worse and more dangerous than Hamas because they’re more sly and can fool naive people like Rice and Olmert who is officially the leader in Israel. Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah terror cells in Gaza are responsible for every third missile and second mortar shell fired at Israel.
3. May be our government should cover their

faces also. If not for shame, then to spare the eyes of the public.
4. To Miriam: No Talk, More Action
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (05.04.08)
To Miriam, from an ardent American Zionist: Right on. Millions of Jews during WW2, were told that they would be "Resettled to labor camps, away from the war". "Work makes free" was posted over Auschwitz's camp. A small orchestra even played music, while people walked through the gates TO THEIR DEATHS. Egypt accused Israel of using US pilots in 67. Syria told Russia of Israel's invasion plans. (False). Israel gave up the Sinai 3 times to a frigid peace. UNIFIL promised to control Hamas (wrong). Iran says it is enriching uranium for "Peaceful purposes". ( A lie). Hillary will devestate Iran, if Israel attacked with nukes (how nice). Obama loves we Jews (all of a sudden). Bottom line: Israel is going in the wrong direction. It must veer right, or face more calamities. The 3 captives must be considered dead. Israel cannot be bound. Tragic but true. To Israel: Get those F35s and fast., arm them with cruise missiles tipped with nukes. That should be Israel's message to Syria, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Hez and Hamas. Hamas and Hez are winning their wars with Israel now.
5. War against Hamas.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (05.04.08)
Since Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005 Iranian-backed Hamas, which is pledged to wipe out Israel and every Jew, has built a well-trained standing army of at least 20,000 men and a huge arsenal of weapons smuggled in from Egypt, and relentlessly attacks Israel with rockets and bombs. Israel should finally mount a major incursion into Gaza to deal with Hamas. If it does, Western opinion, which largely ignores Israeli victimisation, can be guaranteed to cry ‘atrocity’ once again. And just as before, Hamas will deliberately place women and children in the line of fire to maximise civilian casualties in order further to inflame that opinion. That is their way of “fighting” as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi9r6
6. Hamas cant sign agreement with "entity" that doesn't exist!
Sheila ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.04.08)
How can Hamas sign and agreement if it does not accept the existence of the other party? Surely any agreement if it will exist will be based on Kuraiesh.
7. Weisglass showed his hand a long time ago
Naftali Lavie   (05.04.08)
Weisglass argued in favor of Sharons disengagement from Gaza. He explained that this was part of a strategy to put the peace process in formaldehyde, and put an end to the goal of a Palestinian state. Weisglass is an honest proponent of Israeli domination of all of Palestine, on a supremacist ethnic-nationalist basis. No pretensions of a democratic Jewish state. Jewish supremacism and Palestinian subordination. Read his lips.
8. EU is on verge of normalising H-cry of "humanitarian crisis
Alan ,   SA   (05.04.08)
In the EU it is famous quote"You dont negociate with your friends-only with enemies" The IRA example ,so espoused by Tony Bliar is the daily bread . BUT Allah didnt tell the IRA to destroy the British.Neither did IRA want to take over Britain. The Director of Hamas is Allah but the IRA Chief was a human being on earth with a name and address. I say the EU and others presently boycotting Hamas will soon be lining up to "involve Hamas in peace talks"
9. weissglass gave gaza to Hamas
Gina ,   Brooklyn   (05.04.08)
he is just pissed off that hamas is blocking his plans for a big casino in Gaza city, he backed the Fatah losers: http://web.israelinsider.com/views/4180.htm weissglass was the visionary who gave gaza to hamas.
10. Maybe Israel should let Hamas take over the
Allan ,   US   (05.05.08)
Palestinian territory in the West Bank. It would be a simpler political decision to eradicate it as a result of the take over. Israel will not have its "peace paretner" Abbas and his ilk to worry about.
11. Hamas = Dead Men Walking
GZLives   (05.05.08)
Face it, we all know as soon as Bush is gone, Olmert will soon follow and in his place will come a government that will finally deal with the problem the only way the problem can be dealt with. The total obliteration of Hamas once and for all. Every part of this fascist Jew hating genocidal organization bent on not only destroying Israel but KILLING VERY JEW EVERYWHERE. There isn't an Israeli government that will come to power and not destroy this cancer once and for all. Those Palestinian Arabs that want to follow Hamas to Paradise will have their ticket stamped as well. Most have had their patience worn thin with the endless circular nonsensical arguments. Lefties beware, you can no longer defend any of this. The hand has been over played and its just about over. The choice of whether Gaza ends up looking like a lunar landscape is entirely up to those remaining Arabs that understand all of us have come to the end. Oh and that thing about playing world opinion. Guess what? They hate us no matter what we do, but they hate us more when we show weakness. Nothing worse then being a weak Jew - that's what put us in ovens last time and it will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. So, be forewarned. The time is near.

14. To GZLivesShould McCain Apologize to Arab Thugs
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (05.06.08)
To GZ Lives: I read your comment with great fascination. I am an activist supporter of Zionism (Israel's survival and flourishment). The Arabs are clever and great liars. They have been at it for decades, and successfully. No govt' (surely not the US) would allow thousands of rockets to be lauched into it's territory, w/o a massive retaliation. Can anyone imagine Kassams (or Grads) fired into San Diego from Mexico, or Seattle, from Canada, for even one day? We would have sent the entire Marine division at Camp Pendleton in a NY minute., supported by B-52s. Israel has no effective answer to most every problem, whether Hez, Hamas, Fatah's double talking, or Ahmad's rantings and ravings. It is biding it's time, hoping for a miracle, a breakthrough, while Condi blasts it's settlement activity and roadblocks at thwarting peace. Duh!. But we have our own pressures: The Arab-American leadership now demanding an apology from McCain's campaign for something he said. J. Carter is always provoking mischief..liberal PBS (TV) sides quietly with the Pals. The NYTimes has writers who seem not to know what is going on. Targeting Hamas leaders, is ineffective..destroying Khan Younis or Gaza City, would be a better alternative. Until Israel gets serious, it will face crisis after crisis., I am sorry to say. It cannot constantly apologize for it's actions...it will never win. We Jews are now on every Arab's gunsight. We had better wake up and soon. Auschwitz looms.
15. So the Palestinian Authority leaders will disappear...?
ROBERT STEVENS ,   US   (05.06.08)
That won't break my heart. As some of us know, they won't accept Israel's existence, either, and it's better to know where the enemy really stands, rather than be deceived by its double-speak.
