oversite, not an intentional lack of information. I met some IDF disabled at Sheba-Chaim Medical Center when I was there for independent studies and they were well cared for, some staying at the compound hotels for new artificial limbs and physical therapy and surgeries. It is not like the movie "Fourth of July" as it is for some of America's disabled veterans. I didn't see any rats or roaches or dirty restrooms or rooms where disabled veterans were. America's Veterans' Administration officials should visit Sheba-Chaim and do as much for the American veteran disabled.

I couldn't agree more. Some of the facilities where our veterans are being treated are a disgrace. They deserve better, and perhaps the Israeli model would be a good example for us to follow.

Last year I tried to go to the sites of the trucks on highway 1 which were shot at during the war of independence. There are signs next to them that I wanted to read. I found that some were impossible to reach without a car, and others were impossible to reach altogether. What's the point of the explanations next to each one if no one can get there?
