To a great nation and a great people I wish you a happy RE-BIRTH rather than independence day because The Kingdom of Israel existed and it has been redefined for a new modern world. Israel's neighbors are envious of Israel because she has accomplished so much and went through alot. I wish that Iraq would one day become independent from The Kurdish and Shiite territories whose culture is quite different and I feel that we cant all exist under one state anymore. We should have welcomes the Jews of Europe into the Middle East back in 1948 and none of the violence we see today would have occured. As for the dependence of Israel on the U.S, I beg to differ, Israel pays a hefty price for U.S interests in the Middle East and the Bush administration has long stood in the path of any peace talks between Israel and many Arab states.
