1. Arab leader: Israel can't destroy Palestinian people
Michael ,   Austin, TX   (05.09.08)
no...they seem to be destroying themselves.
2. Genocide is not the goal
Robby ,   San Jose, USA   (05.09.08)
All this krap about genocide is a figment of these people imaginations. Maybe they ought to start looking forward and building a future rather then looking backward and complaining about the past.
3. Move on
Yessir Ibn Badkarma ,   Kanwait   (05.09.08)
If they don't like it in Israel I'm sure Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kanwait, Qatar, UAE, Libya, Yemen, or any other middle ages country filled with backward Arabs would love to have them.
4. How will disengagement solve this problem
Mordechai   (05.09.08)
So if we listen to the israeli arabs the occupation began in 1948 not 1967. This means, according to israeli arabs, israel will solve nothing if it withdraws from every inch of land taken in 1967. The occupation is not that of 67 but 48. Israel's Arab population, per the israeli Arab leadership is committed to ending this occuaption of 48. Will israel listen to them and understand what they are saying
5. the 1st genoicide where victim's population increases yearly
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (05.09.08)
yes, israel can't destroy palestinian people because it ISN'T TRYING TO. palestinians: you have my pity. there you go, i hope you feel better now.
6. Lessons of Nakba
Ibrahim ,   Washington DC   (05.09.08)
The Zionist entity in the region tries to erase the history of the Palestinians and the land of Palestine. They convinced a lot of fanatics and ignorant in US with their new version of the history to the degree that they themselves start to think it is true. Wake up, this is Palestine, the people you executed and then forced them to leave their homeland are still there teaching their kids everyday about their villages that have been destroyed, Israel feels less secure every year and every decade; all these celebrations are just to calm the immigrants who are surrounded by Palestinians, 20% of the project population are Palestinians that they never forgot their origins and their land, the other 4 millions live on the rest of Palestine, so 50% of the population in the historic Palestine still live there, even with genocide against the Palestinian people in 1948 and 1967. Do you really feel safe and do you really feel Jewish state?
7. #3
Jane   (05.09.08)
Well, since they identify as Palestinians and not as Israelis, send them to Gaza. All of them. To Gaza.
8. Reality Check
Reality Check ,   BaGolan   (05.10.08)
Time to swap the Arab triangle for the settlement block. Arabs have their own pali leadership and we have the Jewish block in return. A win win! Except for the arabs for whom the move will bring about the realization that ALL arab governments are dictatorships -including the PA. They can vent their venom here because we have a democracy
9. DISCIPLES
Sarah   (05.10.08)
These racists are disciples of Haj Amin Al Husseini, one of the most powerful leaders in the Palestine Mandate. He played an important role in the Holocaust. At the present time, see how these War Criminals treat israeli prisoners. They donĀ“t allow the Red Cross in to substantiate at least that they are alive.
10. He should be arrested for Treason and Stirring Hatred
Albert ,   Geneva, Switzerland   (05.10.08)
This Israeli Arab should be arrested for treason. Israel should not allow this crap to go on. Stupid.
11. "We hate all Jewish Israelis but..."
guy ,   los angeles   (05.10.08)
increase the funds to our communities....!
12. #6 Ibrahim - I have to ask
Robby ,   San Jose, USA   (05.10.08)
Are you proud that so many Palestinians are still refugees? Is it a badge of honor for you to waste so much energy on yesterday? When will the Palestinian people put their children's future first? And yes, both my grandfathers fled from their homelands, and no, they were not compensated. I will always be thankful they decided to move on, rather then waste energy on what happened to them, or on hate.
13. #6 - you obviously read fiction and not text books!
redmike ,   London, LA and TA   (05.10.08)
Nothing wrong with going to bed after reading a good fairy story! And you're in Washington supporting your people! Well done! Mike
14. Rather ironic
Leah   (05.10.08)
I find it extremly ironic that the very genocide the Palestines accuse the Israelis of trying to commit against them, are in reality what they would do to the Israelis if they only had the right weapons and ability to do so.
15. The internal Arab danger ignored.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (05.10.08)
If the arabs living in Israel will go on with their opposition to the Jewish State, they, and they alone, will be the ones to be blamed if a Israeli government in the uture will consider them as a fifth column and treat them as one. If they accept Israel as their home, compared to all the other Arab countries, Israel will continue to be a blessing to them as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi3hx
16. It's quite common...
Michael ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.10.08)
For people to project their own motives and intentions on others, especially after they fail at their endeavors, and this is a prime example. How many times has the Arab world promised to "drive the Jews into the sea"... four, five? Those Arab residents of Israel who consider themselves Palestinians should move to the West Bank or Gaza... but they couldn't demonstrate against the government there without risking their wn lives and those of their entire families...
17. We can't destroy you? Want to bet?
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (05.10.08)
Because we haven't doesn't mean we can't. We certainly have the capacity, the capability. If circumstances were reversed, you would destroy us - that's been your dream for 100 years. Your failure to destroy us is how you define your "naqba" - What you are really saying is that from your point of view, there can be no peace. I take you at your word. Leaving aside all the highly charged rhetoric of which you are so fond, you are proclaiming that this struggle is a jihad, a holy war against our very presence in this land. You are defining the conflict in terms of "it's us or them" (winner take all). I agree. And when I say that I agree, it is only because you force me by your words & deeds to adopt your definition of this conflict.
18. # 6 wHAT PAL HISTORY OTHER THAN ASSASSINATIONS?
petra ,   USA   (05.10.08)
WHAT A JOKE, THE ONLY 'HISTORY' THE PALS HAVE IS ASSASSINATIONS OF ONE ANOTHER OR ISRAELIS. LEBANON AND GAZA RESEMBLE ONE ANTOHER. POWER STRUGGLES FOR A 'WELFARE' PEOPLE AND ONE FACTION OF MUSLIM AGAINST ANOTHER.
19. the first victims of a "genocide", that multiplied
Charles   (05.10.08)
by 5 during 60yrs no genocide, but all arab lies
20. To Ibrahim #6. Using Words Very CHEAPLY.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (05.10.08)
You say :".. genocide against the Palestinian people in 1948 ..". During the War of 1948 when Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon attacked the State of Israel -- you guys had 15.000 deaths, soldiers and civilians combined. While Israel lost 6.000 Jews. Ibrahim, if you describe the 15.000 soldiers and civilian deaths already as genocide -- which word should be used to describe the 1.5 million Ukrainians killed by Hitler in Ukraine ? Ibrahim, you have used a word that should NOT have been used. You and your ilk are using words very CHEAPLY. You and the like are talking like a child. You should grow up and start talking like a mature person like Robby #12.
21. To Terry #17. A Harsh But True Conclusion.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (05.10.08)
22. Israel is an ebaresment unto itself with what it allows
zionist forever   (05.10.08)
How many other countries in the western world would allow its people to hold rallies calling for the countries destruction and especialy allow members of its parliament to attend the rally? No wonder the arabs see us as a weak country that can be worn down through terror or war when we allow our own to take the side of the enemy and get away with it then how can we tell our enemies that we are tough. The oslo mentality has gradualy made us weaker and weaker and today the sort of thing that would once have been unacceptble is no problem today. We have events like this, MKS openly say the country has no right to exist and must be destroyed or they break the law and visit enemy states without permision then they come back and we turn a blind eye and the law does nothing. In any other country the police would be waiting for them at the airport to take them away to be locked up. An Israeli arab murdered 8 yeshiva students in Jerusalem but while Jordan refused to allow the realatives to put up a mourning tent for the dead killer in Israel we allowed them to have this tent in the heart of Jerusalem for at least a week and in the beginging they were even waving Hamas flags from this thing but we let it happen. We are so worried about politcal correctness and wanting to say look we dont hate arabs we even let them get away with this This country has become a political joke.
23. None of you understand
Said ,   London, UK   (05.15.08)
The essential message is that Israel is trying its best to convince the world that the Palestinians have no history, when the TRUTH is that they do have a very rich history in this land, with their own customs and culture different from the rest of the Arabs. People are not merely destroyed by physical elimination - assimilation to other cultures the forgetting of history and identity: that is how most peoples throughout history have been destroyed! The Palestinians relate their history to their children the same way the Jews did - THAT is what you cannot destroy, and never will!
