Score some points for Iran - and trust me, no one will do a thing about it. Just like in Gaza, Hezbollah will consolidate it's hold on Lebanon. But isn't this exactly what will happen in the West Bank? "Moderate" Mr Siniora & 'moderate" Mr Abbas are both irrelevant losers who cannot stand up to the extremists. Do you know why? Because politics in the Islamic world is, well, "Islamic" .... What I mean is that Islam is an aggressive, hostile, totalitarian political ideology & by definition, the non-believers are the enemy. So "moderates" automatically become "collaborators" - puppets of the West, traitors to Islam. They lose their legitimacy. Just look at Siniora's speech yesterday - to gain back some legitimacy all he could say was "Israel is the enemy" - which is the same thing that Abbas does. Rather than become more "moderate" he must seek legitimacy by being more intransigeant, less moderate. Appeasement will not work with this kind of ideology - this is an ideology that must be confronted militarily, by an aggressive propaganda war, & economically. Defeat, massive & crushing defeat, on every front, will cause the Muslim masses to repudiate this ideology.

During the second Lebanon war, under INTENSE U.S. pressure, Israel's leaders to the horror of the Free World's people, agreed to UN Resolution 1701 that prevented the goal vital to Israel's security - eliminating the rocket threat from Lebanon. UN Resolution 1701 successfully prevented Israel from defeating Iran's terrorist army Hezbollah thus greatly weakening Israel and aiding and empowering Hezbollah to take over Lebanon. Another victory for global jihad CREATED by Western ruling elites - another victory for the Islamics in the war against the world's non-Muslims.
