Olmert is definitely the least able of all of Israel's Prime Ministers. He is a texbook example of "The Peter Principle" whereby a person rises in an organization to his/her level of incompetence. His lack of concern for the residents of Sderot and other nearby communities is inexcusable. However, he is not the only person to blame for the ongoing humiliation of Israel and the whittling away of its deterrence. After Olmert, there is a lengthy list of people and groups responsible for the ongoing tactical victories of Hamas. First, the members of his cabinet and his supporters in the Knesset are just as much to blame. They are all traitors to Israel but are good to themselves. How Barak and Labor, Shas, the Pensioners etc. can live with themselves is beyond me while the brave people of Sderot are being murdered and tortured. I guess that money and power enables people to rationalize their treachery to the population. Their refusal to speak about the horrific corruption of the government also speaks volumes about their lack of concern for the welfare of the State of Israel. No less guilty are the idiotic leftwing Jews in Israel and the Diaspora who never miss an opportunity to take potshots at Israel. These demented souls think that they'll get the world to love them as the "good Jews" by criticizing every possible defensive action by Israel. The numbskull and evil Israeli and Jewish professors like Pappe, Rose, Finklestein, Judt, and Chomsky are rootless nonJewish Jews who are simpley traitors to Israel and the Jewish people. They love to gain notoriety by their inane protests and their BS articles in the press. These people are jst despicable. However, there are some Israelis and Jews who are not as hateful but still do so much damage to Israel. These are the people who blame all of the violence on the "occupation". They refuse to admit that they were wrong in advocating the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza and the expulsion of the Gaza Jewish Community. There are also the Jews who cannot dealk with Jews having power. They have been brainwashed to think that being a victim is the moral way while having the power to avoid being a victim is somehow evil. Thus they cannot understand the difference between power used correctly and power used to commit acts of terrorism.. Most Israeli would be willing to sacrifice for peace. Fortunately,most Israelis have not remained delusional to the fact that the Palestinians really don't care what Israel does in regard to withdrawing from the territories; they just want to kill the Jews.Most Israelis see what happened when Israel gives back land to the terrorists---more terror.

And get away with it. We are in dark days. So much for never again. That didnt even last a century.

Untill Israel decides to properly resolv this madness,it should act as terrorists do when terrorizing Jewish communities in order to weaken them(this is the meaning of "terrorism").In other words,Israel should send daily and nightly rockets -cheap and effective roquets-into Gaza in order to terrorize all gazans,the same way they do to Israel. They are probably very vulnerable to such tactics because they deeply know the effect of them in a whole populations. Israel should not only strike them with the expensive methods it has applying in order to answer the bastard's roquets,but TO SEND THE SAME KIND OF ROQUETS BACK. In Gaza ,certainly, the casualties will be higher ,however nobody will complain with Israel since it will be acting like a mirror. Terrorism must be fought with terrorism,along with toughtfull and inteligent tactics as to RESOLV once and for all this surrealist situation.

Under the circumstances, what is needed is not negotiations with Hamas, but strong military action against it. Israel should not undertake a brief incursion, but a major invasion of Gaza to uproot Hamas once and for all. If the Israeli leadership doesn’t take such action, it risks Hamas growing into an even greater menace to the State of Israel than it is today.

If the IDF kills civilians while in battle against th PA government (Hamas) that's war. When the Arabs randomly kill people simply because they are living on the other side of the line, that's collective punishment.

Whenever a house full of women and children are killed "in battle," its war, but if a rocket lands in an open field its terrorism and collective punishment. The siege on Gaza is collective punishment and an act of war. The last time the Arabs hindered the Israeli economy the Israelis had the pretext to attack three countries.
