I can't say that anyone knows G-d's mind 100%. I believe anyone who believes he/she infallibly knows G-d's mind in ALL things ALL the time is deluded. HOWEVER, studying Scripture and spending time in prayer opens oneself up to get glimpses of how G-d thinks and what HE expects/wants from us. We have the various commandments to specifically lead us. We have the records of how G-d acted in various situations to help us understand G-d's Will. We study Scripture to see how G-d acted in the past and we can compare events to today to see if G-d may act in the same way. That's why G-d gave us the Scriptures ... so we would know Him. In a nutshell, G-d's Scriptures tell us that G-d rewards those who obey & diligently seek Him; G-d turns His Face from those who disobey Him & seek after other gods and their own will. I don't think it's an act of hubris for people to observe how Israeli leaders have acted, and based on these actions to predict how G-d will act. They are merely applying what G-d has written down. They could be applying correctly, or not. But, it's G-d's Word that's being acted upon, not some pagan writings. Applying G-d's Word is not paganism or witchcraft, even when a curse is placed upon someone. Scripture is full of reasons why someone might be cursed by G-d, it's also full of G-d cursing people and bringing judgment upon them. I can't say 100% that people have discerned scripture correctly in the matter of cursing Israel leaders. Neither can I say 100% that those who issue the curses are going against G-d's Will. I just don't know, and I suspect most people don't 100% know either. G-d is NEVER mocked. If people curse in His Name, against His Will, G-d will take care of these people.
