Indeed.What i learned was that the Syrian shelled that valley relentlessly even without a war happening.No the Syrians cannot be trusted with the Golan.Syria are still smarting from the six day war it seems and made to look foolish last fall when second line fighter jets managed to penetrate their airspace and hit their target with relative ease.
