1. The solution to terror.
Simone Cobart   (05.31.08)
Victory is the key word not peace, because peace is not an option in this part of the world, and because there is only one solution to terror : a military solution. You do not talk to terrorists, you fight and defeat them. Victory is needed to prove to the Muslims in general and the Arabs in particular that against their ethos of death stands the ethos of life, protected by the arms of democracies that are resolved to punish them where it hurts most as explained at : http://tinyurl.com/2y59qw
2. Absolute victory.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (05.31.08)
Based on theWorld War II experience, “absolute victory” has come to mean vanquishing the enemy – not merely defeating its army and effecting regime change, but forcing its acceptance that the vision that led to its aggression and the system that sustained it were at the end. Victory is needed to prove to the Muslims in general and the Arabs in particular that against their ethos of death stands the ethos of life, protected by the arms of democracies that are resolved to punish them where it hurts most as explained at : http://xrl.us/biz8x
3. My sympathy to the foreign worker...
Dorothy Friend ,   Tel Aviv   (06.02.08)
...who was willing to do work that Israelis aren't! True unemployment has gone down, but there are plenty of unskilled Israelis that could be trained to do this work if they prefered work to welfare.
