What Yariv Oppenheimer fails to state is the the Israeli public is totally fed up with the Palestinians who have shown again and again over the past decade that they don't want peace. The public is also fed up with Peace Now for trying to push a phony peace treaty on us. We don't buy it. The Palestinians are not a partner for peace right now, and giving them land for nothing means certain war. Oppenheimer should read what the left is even saying: the Pals voted for Hamas and that is their legitimate government. And oh yes, Hamas leaders said again a week or so ago that they will NEVER make peace with Israel. So it's not the settlements putting any nails in any coffins. Annapolis was stillborn to begin with.

Condoleezza Rice may as well be the head of Peace Now. What does Peace Now know about peace anyway? What is controversial about building homes on historic Jewish land? Does Oppenheimer (and Dr. Rice)realize Rice's home is on Native American land in Alabama? Rice and her ancestors displaced Creek, Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians in Alabama. Rice's ancestors forcibly removed these fine people from their historic home land. Dr. Rice is an illegal occupier of Native American land.

Agreements as a result of blackmail and pressure are not valid and will not change historical truth and International Legitimacy (The San Remo agreements).
