1. If Bush doesn't take military action ...
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (06.03.08)
Then, indeed, he's crazy. Only someone severely mentally impaired, afflicted with denial to the point of delusion, could fail to see that only military action will stop Iran.
2. Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Energy
steve ,   london, england   (06.03.08)
The whole world wishes the people of Iran every success with their ambition to develop nuclear power for peaceful purposes. But if you build a bomb with it you must accept that this involves you in an inevitable conflict with the whole world. Nuclear war cannot be limited. If you use a nuclear weapon you shall receive a similar response. Who needs nuclear weapons when we have brains, minds, mouths and ears .......... and eyes to see that President Bush is going down in history as one of the bravest and most diplomatically eloquent presidents in all of american history to date. We all saw and heard him speak to Arab nations on his several visits to the region. Praising their efforts and inspiring them to progressive constitutional reforms and the development of human rights. Did anyone see Khamenei speaking at the UN General Assembly to promote the cause of human rights? No. This guy is not capable of speaking in such terms. He sits on his arse in his office in Tehran and pontificates about Islam. We know what that word means dummy. Islam means .... surrender, committment ..... to the idea that all human beings are created equal and are endowed with certain inalienable rights ....... such as Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. So good luck with your nuclear programme Iran. But like your ambivalent president said: BE AT PEACE WITH IT. For the Quran says: "In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful. When Earth is rocked in her last convulsion; when Earth shakes off her burdens and man asks: 'What may this mean?' - on that day she will proclaim her tidings, for your Lord will have inspired her. On that day men will come in scattered bands to be shown their labours. Whoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it also". Amen ve Amen
3. LOGICALLY SPEAKING,TERRY.......#1
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.03.08)
Khamenei is right in saying what he did, really. If you analyse the situation presently existing in Iraq, whereby,Iranian assistance is sought to stabilise Iraq, what would Iran exactly do to assist? If you deny this, then why would USA,in the first place agree to meet Iranian officials on 2 occassions?Further, the new commander for the region insists on Iranian involvement in Iraq by assisting the insurgents. The same commander also now includes Al-Quaida's name as being receipent of Iranian arms. What a farce,Terry.Al-Quaida has killed numerous Shias all over the Middle East, constantly threatens Shias in Iraq....................amd we are being told that Iran is assisting Al-Quaida???!!!! This irreneous statement by the commander of USA was to achieve something else altogether................but subsequently it back-fired because one other senior American officer expressed his amazement at his collegue's remarks and therefore the Al-Quaida episode came to an end. With all this, one wonders if Bush is getting desperate by the hour and is mentally,ok?
4. Strangely enough, most people think you're
(06.03.08)
all mentally ill with your deluded thinking. Your prophet saw to that.
5. Never forget that the Islam is a . . .
Ken Quinn ,   Amsterdam   (06.03.08)
lying dog. Where is Meleck David and his five smooth stones?
6. #3 Mahmood my old friend!
DR ,   Florida, USA   (06.03.08)
Still defending the indefensible, huh? Iran not only uses threatening language towrds Israel, a nation which has done nothing to Iran, ever, but they are at the same time pursuing a nuclear weapons program. Now, if you are a sane person of right mind and have even the least bit of comon sense, you would find this disturbing. But people like you either hate Israel so much or just love the regime in Iran for some odd reason. To us it makes no sense and we all know from our history lessons that regimes like this never get their way. All it takes ins one slip up by your monkey leader and Iran is toast. I think most persians knw this, but have very little power to do anything about it. Too bad!
7. DR.......DID WAKE UP,AFTER ALL.....#6
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.03.08)
Thanks for doing that. All you did.......out of rage,of course and of course, once again, out of spite,is to to discuss things out of context. All I discussed was the article itself and the subject was the present erratic behaviour of Bush and his likes. But I also know why you drifted off the subject...............do you know, why?Tell me,please Why do you think that I hate Israel. Is it because I scan through the press and realise that I also,as an individual, got right to comment on any article that appears appealing to me.By writing crap that suits your character,I assume you gather few symapathisers here and there, but trust me,I have no hatred or any malice towards anyone. So far as the President of Iran is concerned,I have no particular attachment to him............however,I do understand YOUR hatred and have, once again,no comments to make.If handling Iran was that easy, then I suggest, you take up the helms at the Whitehouse and guide the 'mentally' sick BUSH.
8. to # 2
Erik Keller ,   Czech Rep.   (06.03.08)
president Bush is going down in history as one of the bravest.... I like you sarkasm!
9. Hey, Khameneihas a perfect sound mind!!--Blah,ha,ha,ha,ha.
Maurie ,   Israel   (06.03.08)
10. #6. I am not surprised that you don't know that...
Persian CAT   (06.03.08)
the "monkey leader" - I'm glad you recognize the family resemblance - is not the person who is in charge of Iran's military. Khamenie is and he has never said anything about "wiping" Israel off the map! You have conveniently forgotten it was Israel that started threatening Iran using military force way before Ahamdinejad came on the scene.

DR` ,   Florida, USA   (06.03.08)
So in your opinion, it is Bush who is sick and not the Iranian loones who believe that the end of the world is coming with the arrival of the 12th Imam, or whatever it is these nut-jobs believe? Get real!!! Bush was voted to lead the free world by a majority of Americans. Does this make the US a mentally ill nation? After all it is the wealthiest, most free, most advanced naiton on earth, is it not? if you answer no, then tell me why people from all opver the world (jews, muslims, christians, hindus) come here to study, raise their families and live a good life???
12. Bush Mentally Ill????
Charlie ,   Australia   (06.03.08)
Wait and see what happens when the medication runs out !!!
13. #10Damn straight we'll use military force. A-jad or no A-jad
Rueben ,   Israel   (06.03.08)
14. THE BELEIVERS OF 12TH.IMAM.....#11
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.03.08)
Shias, being one of the sects in Islam, believe with lot of authenticity behind their belief...............DR,not whatever the nut-jobss.In fact,if you had the Jew religious personalities living in your area, you will find it interesting to learn of this belief which is mentioned in your own books on religion. It is only after doing so,will you withdraw such type of remarks on these believers.............unless,of course, you know little of your own religion,DR. i have never said or written anything against President Bush. But upon knowing and reading your own Press,I feel amazed that you call the present state of affair 'normal'.Well,no further comments,DR. As to various people living in different countries is something which has been happening for centuries,DR.What has it got to do with deranged leaders of good countries and good people? That is where you slip,DR.You tend to tie up the wrong ends in your talk-back.
15. Al-Jimmah Carter must feel so warm and tingly when he hears
this crap!! ,   Maurie, Israel   (06.04.08)
16. Mahmood...huh?
DR ,   Florida, USA   (06.04.08)
You post is a little hard to follow, but that;s besides the point. As for iran...not all the people agree with ahmadinejad or the Mullahs. But, if they don't starighten their shit out in the near future, they risk being attacked. It is their deranged leaders fault, but this is the way the world works. The sad thing is, that instead of trying to change Iran for the better, people like you make excuses for them and defend their regime. this is the part that we dumb Americanas don't get. Why don't the iranians stand up and call for change? I know that many have been jailed and killed for voicing their opinion, but the rest just keep quiet and pretend like life is great? Very sad!
17. DONT BE SAD,DR..................#16
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.04.08)
Of course it is sad for you...............I trust the sadness exceeds 2 years by now, doesn't it,DR?No one is trying to defend no one,DR.............it is just that some tend to ignore these talk-back.By ne writing does not mean that I am endorsing everything that President Ahmed Nejad says.but at the same time, look at what Bush is still trying.....time is running out,DR.Wake him up!
