It is indeed becoming evident that it is ,for Arabs, paying off to be an enemy rather than abandon one's rights & surrender to Israeli injustice. From the 60's Israel all the time refused to deal with whom it referred to as "terrorists" , but starting from the 1986 famous POW exchange deal in which Japanese Kozo Oka Mato was set free,through the 90's while Ariel Sharon was prime minister & to this moment Israel has been involved in POW exchange deals with Palestinian organizartions & Lebanese Hizbullah. Furthermore Israel has given back Sinai peninsula to Egypt according to Camp David Peace Treaty of 1979, has recognized the Palestinian identity according to the 1993 Oslo Accords,has unilaterally pulled out of South Lebanon in May 2000, and has withdrawn totally from Gaza Strip in summer 2005.All this encourages Arabs that Israel is finally showing clear signs of weakness and helplessness...

Most educated people understand what is plainly evident in regards to the Sinai which is that land mass was too big for Israel. Do you realize how much it cost the state to defend a place that big with a only a tiny group of Israelis willing to live there. Keeping the Sinai would have weakened Israel. Menachem Begin, with Sharon at his side, were only too happy to give it back.

That's the 'peace' process for Israel. Release a child murdering scumbag as another gesture towards our sworn enemies.
