31. Moshico, #9 (this will be sarcastic)
INCognito ,   Brooklyn, USA   (06.16.08)
Was it fair when my parents were having sex, which resulted in my conception, creating yet another Jew, a member of a minority, in a non-Jewish society? Did they not know that I may be teased in school, beaten up, or maybe even killed on that account? How irresponsible of them. They were living only for themselves, not thinking of my future. It was completely unfair to me. I mean, fine, they could have just lived together, but to go on and give me life! The huzpa of these people, my parents! Moshico, and what about your parents? How irresponsible of them (Jews I presume) to give birth to yet another Jewish child, who living in Israel may be a target of Palestinian terrorists! Or perhaps suffer as a result of attack from an Arab or Muslim state! How irresponsible of your parents! They should have thought of this, surely!

Juan, pedal your religious views to yourself. People don't think they know better than G-d. People don't think that G-d exists or they think that the G-d that does exist is not the G-d that you, Catholic church or the Israeli rabbinate believe in. Same-sex couples are a family in every sense of the word, as long as they love and respect each other and bring up their (addopted/surrogate) kids with love, care, and devotion.
33. Remind me again why Israeli wombs aren't in this equation?

34. Re: #10 Shrimp & Lobster are also ABOMINATIONS
benny ,   phila. pa. usa   (06.16.08)
Should shrimp and lobster eaters and those who handle two different kinds of fabric or pigskin footballs also go to Jordan to practice their "abominations"? Each of these abominations are listed with the homosexual abominations in the same chapters of Leviticus. Why are we allowed to pick and choose which abominations we find objectionable versus others that are perhaps not so objectionable? Which one is it? Hmmm?
35. why are we allowed to pick and choose ?
yahn goodey   (06.16.08)
i do not know where you find permission from G-D to pick and choose which of His laws some don't agree with. to my knowledge all of G-D's laws are still in effect and isaiah says a day of reckoning is coming for all those that rebel against Hashem (isaiah66:23-24)
36. #29 - Understood. Thanks.....
Andy   (06.16.08)
Its just sometimes you refer to "the haredim" with a very broad brush, even when that kind of response is off-topic based on the article at hand. There are alot of very, very orthodox people here and abroad who are decent, and who find respectful ways to disagree with us as gay people and as Jews. And I hate the idea of lumping them in with the awful ones. I admire and respect you and your family though. Kol hakavod. And thanks for listening to me.
37. #31 - BRAVO!!!

Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (06.17.08)
Deviant? Yes Genetic reasons? Still unknown. You say "A gay man with two children". You know more than I do that there are also subgroups of gays and lesbians. Please, let me be clear: I do not attack you, I do not have the intension to offense you and I do not hate you at all.
39. In 10 years, it will be possible to marry an animal
Jake   (06.17.08)
and who knows? Perhaps 10 years after that, it will be possible to marry a plant. On that day, I will marry a colliflower and wear a T-shirt saying "No More Vegetarians".
40. YNET - PLEASE DO NOT CENSOR --- TO #39
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.18.08)
Comparing a human being to an animal or a vegetable just becuse he or she is the same gender as the other partner is retarded. If you are talking about marrying vegetables - I suggest YOU find a cucumber and consummate the relationship at once.

43. YNET IS CENSORING ME --- WHY? - TO #41
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.21.08)
Yaakov Sullivan is a LIAR. He and his imaginary Palestinian "husband" Hassan no more adopted children from Ramallah than I did my Shabbat grocery shopping in Tehran last week. I doubt if he has ever even BEEN to Ramallah. He is a fantasizer of collosal proportions. PLEASE YNET - DO NOT CENSOR MY COMMENTS THIS TIME - I HAVE TRIED TO GET THIS MESSAGE ACROSS 3 TIMES NOW.
