3. Demand that the Red Cross intervene
Why the guesswork?
Israel should refuse to negotiate another minute until the Red Cross have visited the boys and brought back proof of life.
It's an internationally accepted organization, and this is a legitimate request.
Why don't our government have the guts to demand what is rightfully ours and do the decent thing for these families?

We in the arab world are fortunate that the world does not hold us to the same level of accountability and responsibility that it holds israel. We do not have to allow the red cross to visit anyone. Stop trying to hold us to a higher standard than the rest of the world does.

This is a very smart move and I fully agree with it. Dont think
with your religious bias but at the facts. We all know that 99%
they are no longer alive and they would know better with the
intelligence information they have.
First rule of any hostage situation is "proof of life". To date
Hez. havent come up with any iota of proof because thats the way
they have to play it with dead bodies. They know they cant extract
the same price for bodies alone. By declaring them dead has a 2
fold benefit.
1. If they are in fact alive now this will force Hez. to prove it
since being declared dead. The onus would then be on Hez. and not
Israel as to the price.
Let me reiterate, under no circumstances inspite what the families
may say can Israel release live terrorists who WILL kill again for
human remains which only difference would be place of burial.
2. It releases their wives from agunah state which Hez. would be
happy to keep them so for another 50 yrs. Not that that is a
consideration for them at all.
By declaring them dead makes Nasrallah a lier to all his peers and
a failure. Who has promised the release of Kuntar and others on
many many occasions. He has overplayed his hand and Israel is
calling his bluff and he will be found wanting and will be
ridiculed. Whilst the dead remain dead with no change.
Remember "proof of life", you cant be sentimental with this clause.

There's been no proof of life for 2 years. This is some last minute arm twisting by Israel to get Nasrallah to show us they are alive or get much less in return. This is smart. No Kuntar without at least one of them being alive. Life for life. No trade for a box of bones.

10. Media gives too much attention to POWs' families.
Of course these families are suffering badly, and we all suffer with them. However, the media is acting irresponsibly by giving the families such a huge stage, and reporting each and every word Karnit Goldwasser says.
Deciding whether Goldwasser and Regev are dead, is a very important move we must make, in order not to make a hasty deal. With all due respect to these families pain, we should not exchange a bloody terrorist, for two dead bodies.

13. Nasrallah's crdibility
when asked about giving signs of life, Nasrallah said: every thing is subject of negotiation and every thing has a price. You tried Nasrallah's credibility before, but you can't now because "dead is better".
