If they are dead, then the only exchange can be dead for dead. Not so long ago Israeli 'Woman in Black' emotionally blackmailed a weak Israeli leader, Barak, to withdraw from Lebanon. As a result of giving into this blackmail, Israelis betrayed their Lebanese ally, got Hezbollah and perhaps Iranians, right on their border and exposed the third of Israeli territory to a rocket barrage 2 years ago. Will Israel get some leaders with cohones that do not submit to an emotional blackmail? If not, the entire Israel, and not just Goldwasser and Regev, are lost. Your enemies have already figured out that your weak leaders suffer from hubris, issue empty threats and bid up negotiated price, by bidding against themselves.
