This isn't news, people: Jerusalem has been this way for a long time and will continue to serve the religious, lite-religious and overseas religious communities accordingly. Revelations that religious people date can only seem shocking to Tel Aviv folks who don't think beyond the beach and the wish-they-were-even-close-to-overseas bars. Laizy Shapira seems to enjoy this interview, not so much for pushing his new series but more to counter the sheer ignorance of the interviewer with regards to the religious community.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'll be 70 years old tomorrow our time and if nothing else, I intend to laugh as much as possible for however long I have left and despite all the bad things going on. If I can make someone else smile in the process, so much the better.
