There's lots of garbage for you to throw out. If you can also find a way into their databases, you'll be real heroes.
3. Very stupid - two can always play at this game.....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.26.08)
Of course I got a chuckle thinking of Hamasniks logging on to our gorgeous Blue and White flag....but its kind of a below-the-belt tactic that will always produce a response. People from every political stripe have computer engineering skills. We may have the best software engineers in this country, but what's good for the goose......
4. Excellent!
Enzo ,   london,uk   (06.26.08)
In the greater scheme of things, you can save lives!

We have the best software engineers in the world which is why most of MicroSoft is developed in Israel.
6. Keep Up The Wonderful Work!

Maybe the IDF can now hunt down and kill the people who post on the sites. I finally get to smile at news from my country!

And what does that really accomplish?...They will fix it and go on..It's just so childish,..but that seems to the arrested juvenile Israeli mentality...calling names and distruptions..never trying a reaprochement..to rectify anything...
14. #3 Andy is right
Robby ,   San Jose, USA   (06.26.08)
And then they brag about it? If they really want to accomplish something be more discreet. I mean the Israeli flag?
15. Very useful for security and counterterrorism
Concerned Israeli   (06.26.08)
Amazing. These guys will get swept up by the Mossad in no time ;)
16. Just because they can respond doesn't mean we shouldn't act
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (06.26.08)
Andy in Ramat Hasharon writes, "its kind of a below-the-belt tactic that will always produce a response." Perhaps you'd expect Israel to fight by Queensbury Rules, or like those early Brits who derided espionage because "gentlemen don't read other people's mail". Or like those in Israel in 2001 who insisted there was "no military solution" to those terrorist attacks - until the IDF proved them wrong in 2002. And to that Proud Israeli (#4) who insists "We have the best software engineers in the world which is why most of MicroSoft is developed in Israel."? Firstly, most of Microsoft's engineers are in Redmond (others in China, India and elsewhere), not Israel, and presumably responsible for most of what Microsoft does. Which is fortunate, because much of what Microsoft releases is second rate, and Windows remains an embarrassment. No "proud Israeli" should want to take credit for that.

La Comparsita ,   London UK   (06.26.08)
Please get these whizkids to hack into Google Earth where the inclusion of virtual Palestine, superimposed on Israel in the core layer of Google Earth, is an example of replacement geography . See this article: http://www.jcpa.org/Templates/ShowPage.asp?DRIT=1&DBID=1&LNGID=1&TMID=111&FID=376&PID=0&IID=2250&TTL=Google_Earth:_A_New_Platform_for_Anti-Israel_Propaganda_and_Replacement_Geography
19. OK. Do something useful!
Brent ,   Lawrence, USA   (06.26.08)
OK. It was a nice stunt. Now do something useful. Hack into something significant to Hamas, say, a powerstation, and play havoc with the controls. Hack into a communicaitons center and have their people running all over for nothing. Hack into their financial accounts and transfer the misappropriated money to somewhere it can be put to good use! This will hurt them. Otherwise, all you have done is pull off a good stunt and gotten some publicity.

james ,   Canada   (06.26.08)
Nothing new here, script kiddies going after some weak points in a few websites, checked the one mentioned in the story, it's back up. Funny how in another story of arabs hacking isreali websites, we get all this oh their criminals comments. Here we have a bunch of cheer leaders, praising them LOL. Nice double standard, but then that is how you lead your life in general isn't it.LOL
25. #16 - Raymond sits in his condo in DC....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (06.26.08)
and tells me I expect my country to fight by "Queensbury Rules" whatever the f... they are. I wasn't suggesting hacking is imoral or wrong philosophically - the issue I raised was that if you do that, and identify yourselves, you are inviting a response. Go back and read what I said again since your english comprehension apparently is not up to snuff. Let me know if you need help with the big words.
26. RE #25, "hacking is immoral"
Jake   (06.27.08)
When Israel's enemies do it, they hack banks and government ministries. These guys on the other hand hacked the websites of the military wing of Hamas, the "Izz-al-din Kassam brigades", the dictionary definition of immorality. I say well done, and if they can hack into the computers that Iran uses for its nuclear weapons program, I would say even better.
27. #24 james' moral equivalence
Jake   (06.27.08)
between Israeli banks or government ministries websites, and the websites of Hamas' military wing, the "Izz al din Kassam Brigades', a murderous terror organization. What would you say if they hacked into the website of al Qaeda? Creep!

These kids should be shot. Over here they would be jailed. Probably same irresponsible juvenile louts that create virus's.
