1. HA...Jonathon Gher
shadoil ,   Jerusalem   (06.26.08)
Jonathon Gher ,the director of the open house ,said in a previous published article that the gay or gay affirmative in Jerusalem is approximatly 10% of the population in Jerusalem. All that was there at the parade were a few hundred at best a little over a thousand. If indeed pro gayers make up 10% of the population in Jerusalem or even within the State of Israel there should have been at least 50,000 supporters. OK ...they had to work and some are on vacation so there should have been 20,000. Where were they? Again statistics are so blown out of proportion. I can understand gays wanting to be treated fairly but they should find the medium to push their agenda which fits their surroundings and their modest numbers and supporters.

8. the gays are anti tolerant
adavis ,   J'lem I'l   (06.26.08)
The Gays are on the same side as many of the people they claim to oppose, like chauvanists, exploiters, abusers of sorts, bullies and more . in that their only value is satisfying a desire without regard to ideas outside or above that desire. all of the above are transgressions of Torah equally applicable to NON believers as to believers Not believing in a law or a law-giver doesn't exempt the non believer from accountability, and the gays, (as well as Shas, which is in a position to stop the parade but won't) will get their dues. they are also violating democratic ideas of mutual respect by demonstrating for provocation in a city whose majority is offended by them.

14. Answer to Ha Jonathon Ger from Shadoil
Ines ,   tel aviv - Israel   (06.26.08)
What difference it makes 2, 20, 200, or 100 millions... They all have the right to be free to be what they are...and to be treated with respect and dignity... They have come a long long way from the dark closet days... and we should all be proud of them ... Mostly gays and lesbians don't choose to be so...it was give to them ...for whatever reason... most of them.. hated at first the fact that they are different and they are not accepted and loved as they are...they always have to be affraid of some homophobic nuts humiliating and sometimes even attacking them... we should appreciate their honesty and courage appreciate and accept them

Nobody persecutes Messianics. They are just not recognized as Jews. They are Christians and should be proud of their religion. I am a Jew and am proud of mine. Shalom to you.
18. Gay "Pride"... The Prophetic Time Draws Near
Craig Crawford ,   Laguna Niguel USA   (06.26.08)
Through the prophet Ezekiel (a thousand years AFTER they were destroyed), God tells us WHY He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah ... "This was the iniquity (sin) of your sister Sodom: She (Sodom) and her daughter (Gomorrah) had pride, ("Gay Pride") fullness of food, and abundance of idleness; neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy, and they were arrogant (haughty) ... Therefore, I (God) took them away as I saw fit." (He dissolved them and cleansed the earth where they stood with fire ...) (Ezekiel 16:49-50) In these verses, God links open homosexuality in a society to sinful 'pride' and 'arrogance'... the sin of Satan. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed ('cleansed' with fire) because they were filled with pride and arrogance while flaunting their sexual immorality and their homosexuality openly before God. They mocked God and they had no fear of God. They were also found guilty of having 'fullness of food' without acknowledging God who provided it, and having 'an abundance of idleness' in the land (basically they ate, drank, watched TV, and allowed their Gay "Pride" parades, while filling the lusts of their eyes and the lusts of their flesh ... the people had become so de-sensitized to sin they even stood by as their 'gays' tried to 'gang-rape' the two men/angels God sent to warn Lot ... and their bars, shopping malls, and pornography web-sites were bustling) ... while their worthless priests, rabbis, ministers, and 'reverends' were assuring the people in the pews that God's Word and God's Law didn't really mean what it said and didn't really apply to them and they could continue to do whatever felt good or right in 'their own eyes,' even when in direct opposition to God's Law. All of this reflected their lack of belief and their arrogant and rebellious attitudes toward God and His Word. Sin meant nothing to them and there was no fear of God. Would these charges indict and convict any people or nation(s) you know today? God's judgment against Sodom was was also given as a warning! The Bible warns the coming 'Apocalypse' will be like the judgment against Sodom (only worse), and this time it will come against the whole world!  Our time is short. God is pleading with us to stop (repent of) our sinful ways and return to Him before it's too late. With open arms and with tears of joy He will welcome any and all who willingly return to Him through the One He sent forth to save us sinners ... Yeshua/Jesus ... the promised Messiah. And, as with Lot (and as with Enoch before the Flood), God promises to remove ('Rapture') those who will sincerely return to Him in faith before the coming 'Apocalypse,' which the Bible also calls 'the Great Tribulation,' 'the Time of Jacob's [Israel's] Trouble,' 'the Day of the Lord,' the 'Time of the End,' and the 'Day of God's Wrath.' ...   (Prophecies ... The coming "Rapture") Then, around 500 years AFTER Ezekiel, God warns Sodom and Gomorrah were given as an "example" for coming generations ...  "As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, ( 5 cities were destroyed including Sodom and Gomorrah) having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, (homosexuality) are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." (Hell) (Jude 1:7)  "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them (Sodom and Gomorrah) to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly ..." (2 Peter 2:6)

27. Sickening
nr ,   los angeles, USA   (06.26.08)
Hypocrites!! Shut up about all the "gay" rabbis and religious Jews - that's not the point. The point is Jerusalem is a holy city- a representation of religiousity. Judaism, Christianity and Islam deem homosexuality an abomination. We Jews have no right to claim Jerusalem from any context - even historical because that historical context is steeped in religiousity if we permit a "gay" pride parade there. What do homosexuals prove by marching in Jerusalem - that G-d is dead, or at the very least, wrong? You so called tolerant people are an embarassment - point scored to the Arabs who would never have let this happen - they hit the prayer rugs 5 times a day to honor G-d. And I'm sure there are plenty of "gay" relgious Muslims too. Don't be so sure G-d won't let His feelings known for this travesty.
