The fact remains that the provacative nature of this parade in a city such as Jerusalem will not bring en-mass acceptance of homosexuals. It is intended to exacerbate tension and animosity with an "in your face" presentaion of what many find morally repugnant. Where they hold this parade and in the manner they do it will never bring them acceptance but they already fully understand that. If they wanted unqualified acceptance thay could move to San Francisco. These are extremist homosexuals who are relying on a court and police department to save them from the indignation and turmoil they manifest with their incendiary conduct. The propensity for self harm whether by unprotected sex as seen in their rise in AIDS infections or their ability to incite violent reactions leads me to believe this group as a whole is self destructive.
