1. Don't play with Eastern European police officers
Daniel Breslauer ,   Jerusalem   (06.27.08)
That should teach them a lesson: don't play with Eastern European police officers. They have a particularly bad taste of humor, and pretty loose hands. I've lived in Prague for a while and have seen the police there (B"H I didn't have any problems with them myself). Trust me, each of them looks like he comes straight from the Special Forces... But anyhow, why do these things always happen with Israelis on planes?
2. Antisemitism.

How do you know this? From a few scattered facts in an article? Get rid of the enormous chip on your shoulder!
4. No antisemitism here ,JUST RUDE ISRAELI BEHAVIOR !!
TRUMPELDOR ,   eurabia   (06.27.08)
Bulgarian people saved their jews during WW2 !!!!
5. RUDE BEHAVIOR
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (06.27.08)
Without a doubt the way Israelis conduct themselves in their rude behavior here in every way of life does not work abroad. How many times have I sat in a foreign plane and people were requested to remain seated until arriving at the gate and our arrogant Israeli friends get up anyway, basically giving the finger to anyone telling them what to do. There is this great pride in selfish rude behavior , which as usual starts at the top. Hard to believe that one does not see the difference between a bathroom and a emergency door, on the other hand with Israelis not giving a damn about any rules, this ain't no big surprise. Personally I believe a good beating once in a while might teach our obnoxious Israelis a lesson.
6. How can you mistake the exit door for a bathroom???
Rich ,   Raanana   (06.27.08)
What a bunch of morons!! They were not only rude but they might have been drunk too. How can you mistake an emergency door for a bathroom. Time to get a new pair of eyeglasses or a room at the local insane asylum for these 3....Its all Just totally unbelievable...what were they thinking !!!...the answer is that they werent!!.....
7. To DAvid and Rich: I suppose involved guys were drunk !!
TRUMPELDOR   (06.27.08)
8. Israel should educate it's citizens
Bob ,   USA   (06.27.08)
As an Israeli I saw too many times how Israeli behave abroad. I was frequently ashamed of their reckless behavior. Israel law should expand to all those who carry an Israeli passport. Offenders should be severely punished. Concomitantly an educational effort has to take place including signing a declaration of good behavior and understanding the penalties if not.
9. Israeli misbehavior
Arthur ,   Houston   (06.27.08)
I was an airline employee for 45 years working for a world airline. The Israeli traveler is most rude and misbehaved of any passengers I came across. Every time when we had an Israeli passenger there was always trouble with their behavior.
10. MOST LIKELY "RUDE" ISRAELIS
YEDIDYA ,   CHICAGO, USA   (06.27.08)
#4 IS PROBABLY RIGHT. I HAVE BEEN ON FLIGHTS TO & FROM ISRAEL. THE ISRAELIS NEED TO BE #1 HAS EVOLVED INTO A SORT OF SOCIAL RUDENESS, THAT I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED.
11. Though harshly dealt with, they neeeded to do it.
Avi   (06.27.08)
As a pasenger on a plane, I too would be alarmed if seeing someone trying to open an exit door in mid flight. Something was amiss, and while treatment was harsh, it is something I would expect of an East European country. They don't take BS for an answer.
12. #4, In my experience, Bulgarians can be anti-Semitic
AK   (06.27.08)
in un-inhibited moments, thinking that they speak to a kindred spirit, you'd be surprised what can come out of their mouths.
13. Not enough information
Seth   (06.28.08)
There are not enough facts in this article to make any sort of judgment either way.
