Hamas was able to force out Fatah from Gaza. So rather than ask their buddies to refrain from terrorism Hamas needs to enforce the 'truce' and stop all terrorist acts within Gaza;, not CONSIDERr taking action. All talk and no do

Like Haniyeh the hyena can throw out Fatah and take over the whole Gaza Strip, but can't stop Fatah firing missiles into Israel, It looks like only Olmert Barak and Livni believes you.
I think that Arafat Haniyeh and Abas
are the original Bad Ugly and Uglier.

So why you did not listen to Abu Mazen when he saked you to do so in order to make a peace agreement with Israel? Is this because you are leading Gaza now, what Abbas did was (Haram) and your Hudna is (Halal)??? Such stupid leaders.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera (April 26, 2008), Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal clarified that for Hamas, a tahdiya is “a tactic in conflict management.” He added that it “is not unusual for the resistance…to escalate sometimes and to retreat a bit sometimes as the tide does….The tahdiya creates a formulation that will force Israel…to remove the siege…

8. Why does the Israeli media keep on talking about
a "ceasefire"? Don't they know what the word means? The ceasefire was broken almost immediately. Who are we trying to fool, ourselves? And why? To compensate for the pathetic bunch of greedy pathetic cowarly snakes who call themselves our government. I am disgusted and we will be leaving Otef Aza soon. Let Olmert and his buddies come and live with their families in this shooting range. We have had enough.

9. The biggest blunder the US made in

Vietnam was to stop the bombing during the peace talks. I had heard later that we had them on the ropes and they were desperate to get the bombing to stop.
You always negotiate from positions of strength and apply unremitting pressure.
"The factions and the people accepted the lull in order to secure two interests – an end to aggression and the lifting of the siege."
Hamas is admitting here the basic fact we learned from Vietnam. That applying pressure and pain bends the enemy's resolve, and once applied you continue to incrementally increase the pressure till the enemy's capability to resist snaps.
It's a shame that it is Israel's leadership that has decided that winning is tiring and that giving up and losing is the preferable option.

Yes, it is a calm period, everyone in Palestine believes that. As long as the occupation and aggressions, checkpoints, settlements continue, everyone has the right to resist this violation of international law that US protect because of the hypocrisy, the difference between hamas and Arafa and Fateh, is that when Hamas says truce, it honors that, while Arafat, said it is finished and the he found himself without tools so he had to violate his commitments to face the Israelis aggressions.

Almost anything. All these groups have their own arsenals to act independently from one another, but yes, overall Hamas does control what goes on in the strip overall, but just like anywhere though, you can't stop random rogue elements from committing crimes. That they are telling everyone to honor the truce is a big turnaround from Tuesday where they said "we arent Israel's police force". Word though will not save Hamas...they must actively stop this truce-breaking if they want to avoid a massive Israeli retaliation. http://www.tzomet.net

12. There Are Rogue Elements In Every Organization

(06.27.08) |
Israelis should understand that Ismail Haniyeh is making a sincere attempt to gain control of those elements. Even the IDF has broken the truce by firing on Palestinians trying to get to crops close to separation wall. Both sides need to recognize that there are elements on both sides that never want peace and will do what it takes to keep it from happening. These are the people whose opinions should be marginalized.

Arafat may his name be erased, would claim it was the xyz group when all along he gave every order to kill Jews. This is chapter from that ugly dead toads playbook and the insane left wing Israeli leaders still have not figured this out.
How can any leaders be as stupid as the Olmert regime? That limousin next to the Gaza fence is picking up a few envelopes for the Israeli PM.

15. Israel should uproot Hamas once and for all.
Robert Bernier , |
Tel Aviv |
|
(06.27.08) |
Under the circumstances, what is needed is not negotiations with Hamas, but strong military action against it. Israel should not undertake a brief incursion, but a major invasion of Gaza to uproot Hamas once and for all. If the Israeli leadership doesn’t take such action, it risks Hamas growing into an even greater menace to the State of Israel than it is today as described at : http://xrl.us/bmdnh

How stupid can the Israeli leaders be???? Cease fire with terrorists??? Are you kidding me??? Did any sane person ever thoguth that this will hold??

Israel should completely separate from Gaza, use Hamastani rule to achieve that. End all trade with Gaza. Stop sending Shekels to Gaza. Let Gazans only to trade thru Egypt and move thru Egypt.

Olmert & Barak knew exactly what they were getting into and were under no ilusions it would lead to an increase in terror longer term.
For over a month Barak & Olmert were against it because they were worried about an increase in smuggling etc .
When the heat is on Olmert, election fever is building, he is trying to sell the country cheap and the public are starting to criticise like his policy for getting rid of the Golan suddenly its a good deal that Hamas are offering.
Hoping the calm and then his plan to release murderers to get Gilad back would increase his popularity and the people wouldnt object as much to his plans and wouldnt be calling for his resignation.
Barak like Olmert didnt want elections so he saw it as in his interests also to try and get the public to stop criticising to much because he is part of it.
Hamas on the record said before the thing came into effect that they would not stop smuggling and they didnt hold all factions to this truce but Olmert & Barak went along with it anyway.
Its not the left wing responsibe for this one its all about holding onto power.

24. #12, The IDF fired warning shots
That does not constitute a credible violation of the truce (even if an anonymous 'UN source' says otherwise), except in the field manual of those who insist that Israel must be blamed at all costs.
Also, there is no sparation "wall" between Israel and Gaza.
We are now in the 4th day of Kassams and Mortars from Gaza falling on Israel, so we can see how sincere are the intentions of Hyena.
