So, the time to strike is within the next few weeks in my opinion. Iraqi oil can replace Irans..AND US fleet can reopen the Persian Gulf and Straits. So, Israel go to it..and stop debating.."Strike while the iron is hot" before they (definitely) strike you. You listed the incompetence of American leaders, but you forgot to add Olmert and the Israeli leadership on the list of abject failures. If Olmert is tasked with the job of taking out Iranian nuclear sites, he will more than likely screw it up so badly, not only will the mission not be accomplished, it will lead to nuclear enrichment being sped up, and another war with Hizbullah that Olmert will fail to win. As I recall, Olmert was supposed to get rid of Hizbullah, but he hasn't bagged them yet. Perhaps if Israel had turned Iran's main instrument on its border into pate back in 2006, Ahmedinejad would now be stewing in his own juice. As things stand at the moment, the best bet for stopping Ahmedinejad is that his own people will tear him to shreds. In the meantime, Israel MUST get rid of its weak incompetent leadership, and get a real leader.

this is all about oil! the US is leaking this information for the sole reason of driving up oil prices to satisfy the endless greed of the oil puppets Bush Administration. The only people who will benefit from an Israeli strike will be the oil companies, they can then charge $300 a barrel and get rich while the rest of the world, of all religions and nationalities, suffer. The Muslims have two big camps : the Sunnis, comprising more then 75 %, and the Shiites, comprising about 20 % of the Muslims in the world. Saudi Arabia is a Sunni Muslim country, while Iran is a Shiite Muslim country. Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries ARE afraid of a powerful nuclear Iran. There is a STRUGGLE going on between the Sunnis and the Shiites. Although America and its allies WON the war in Iraq in 2003, not long thereafter the war between the Sunnis and the Shiites erupted in Iraq -- comprising the majority of the deaths in Iraq. And this RELIGIOUS war is still going on in Iraq -- with about 1900 deaths a month. SO, I think that Saudi Arabia and the other Sunni Arab states want to USE Israel to stop the further rise of Iran. BTW America and the West are NOT afraid of Iran -- not AT ALL.
