1. arab attitude towards jews
fish ,   t-a   (07.02.08)
I want to know what the left-wing politicians ,like Peres, Beilin, Sarid have to say about that - the hatred is forwarded not against "settlers" and Liebermann, but against probably the most liberal and Arab-friendly part of Israeli soicety. What will it take to understand that this attitude doesn't have anything to do with the politics of Israel, the Jew-hatred is already an institution, part of life, and major passion in any Arab society - it's unreasonable, surreal, passionate. They love to hate us, they hate us because with this hatred they cover their own failures, weakness, impotence.

and #1, in the article it says that "Publicis - is owned by Morris Levy, a Jew who also organized Israel's 60th anniversary celebrations. " I doubt that they care if the firm was jewish. I do, on the other hand think that the boycott stemmed from his links to organizing Israel's 60'th recently. shut up with the anti-jew crap already. If they were, the arab people who are staging this event wouldnt have hired a firm that happened to be owned by jews in the first place. duh. and how would you know what they love or not-It looks like you are the one with the anti-arab (people as a whole) problem.
5. True value of signing peace with Arabs

6. You Israelis don't get it
Said ,   London, UK   (07.02.08)
You actually think the Arab world WANTS to hate you. Or that the Arab world hates you for who you are, rahter than what you do. I assure you, had you been any other ethnic group, doing the same thing in Palestine, the Arab reaction would have been the same. Once a fair solution has been reached between Israel and the Palestinians, you will witness a change you never thought possible. There will still be some suspicions after the fact, on both sides, but you will not even recognise the Arab world. Its sad to think that Israel believes the Arabs hate, just for the sake of hating.
7. Arab Artists
NYC Girl   (07.02.08)
One of the things that sets the Arabs apart from the rest of the world is that in almost every other country, it's the artists and the intellectuals who tend to be the most open-minded and most receptive to the idea of co-existence. In the Arab world, however, some of the most irredentist and bellicose voices come from that very segment of the population. In fact, it was just recently that the Egyptian Culture Minister expressed the Hitlerian view that books written by Jews and Israelis should be burned in Egypt. And that's one of the main reasons why there will probably never be peace between Arabs and Israelis.

no moron, you dont get it they will always find reasons to hate. why did they butcher jews during the 1929 pogroms, i'm sure they found a nice excuse back then as well. go back to sipping your tea and biscuts
9. Why do we have anything to do with these
jason white ,   afula,israel   (07.02.08)
sub-humans? We can do without them and their primitive "culture".
10. Said You Don't Get It
Bill ,   US   (07.02.08)
The Arab world has treated the Jews far worse in the past. I recommend the book, "The Myth of Islamic Tolerance". It's a collection of essays primarily written by liberal and ex-Muslims refuting the claim of Islamic tolerance towards the "people of the Book". Boycotting an art festival is nothing in comparrison to what you've done historically. The question is how is today different from the days before?
11. Reality Is Hard to Accept
guy ,   los angeles   (07.02.08)
The hatred of Israel is deep in the Arab world and nothing short of all Jews leaving Israel will satisfy them. No one can predict when and if this will ever change even if peace accords are signed with the Palestinians...

ok said....so you say the arabs only hate tghe jews because they "stole their lands" popycock! by the way how cwould you explain the treatment of jews in all arab lands prior to israel's birth. there was no occupation then, but the jews in arab lands lived under muslim terrible occupation, murder, non protected, mob riots, murder, executions, mob murders, no human rights, no decent housings except the horrible conditions and poverty in the mellahs (jewish ghettos in arab lands) where jews were not allowed to live amongst muslims, where jews had no say in the muslim courts, where jews were murdered simply if a muslim said they did this or that, where jews needed 2-3 witnesses to testify on their behalf, while muslims needed none, where jews were not allowed any freedom of professions, government, commerce, etc... poor abject mistreatment and poverty. there was no occupation then. how come arabs treated the jews like that? there was no israel then! and while you are at it, isn't the expultion of one million jews in arab lands and the riots, synagogue burning, confiscation and stealing their property and houses and bank accounts....isn't this collective punishment by arabs against a whole jewish citizenry and an innocent one at that?....this is your response to claims that israel collectively punishes the palestinians. also, why did the arabs hate jews before the formation of israel? why the hebron massacres in 1929 by arab mobs who murdered hundreds of jews? why did haj amin el husseini meet with hitler to bring about the final solution to the jews in the middle east and especially palestine and hired bosnian muslims to come fight and murder jews in palestine? there was no israel then and the jews were not the zionists then either. they all lived on that land for millenias and as a matter of fact were the majority in jerusalem before israel was even born. also, why do you have so much written against jews with such hateful murderous comments in the hadiths and suras..."kill jews wherever you may find them", "don't take them into your homes and do not befriend them", i can go on forever with your vilest book of religion with hate and war mongering messages that make the sane world sick to its stomach. common, admitt it. the muslim world has nothing but millenial contempt and hate for jews. it's in your friday mosques, fed through propaganda, read in blasphemous books such as mein kapmf, elders of zion and other trash you arabs publish. however, the most reason why arabs hate jews is because they are tops, sucessful, cultured, advanced, educated, professional, high tech, rich, brainy and resourceful, hard working and high acheivers. look what they did in 60 years. enough said!
13. Jewsh Israeli musicians have performed in Jerash festival
D. Or ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.02.08)
In the Jerash festival of 2004, we were the first (and only) Israeli Jewish group, organized by the All Nations Cafe ngo from Jerusalem, that ever performed in that beautifully preserved Roman town. We has excellent cooperation and response from festival visitors from Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Egypt and Palestine. The political tension was there, but we managed to ether bypass, defrost, or burst that bubble. A supportive voice came to our aid during a press conference in Amman, when a famous Iraqi Maqam singer told reporters that music is beyond politics, and happily shared the stage with us.
14. Read hate for Jews in Quran
Moshe ,   Brooklyn   (07.03.08)
[5:51] O you who believe, do not take Jews and Christians as allies; these are allies of one another. Those among you who ally themselves with these belong with them. GOD does not guide the transgressors

Of course the Arab world hates us for the sake of hate and because we are Jews. Read the Koran, or have you separated yourself from your heritage?

17. #6, Said, yes, had we been any other
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (07.03.08)
ethnic group, like Kurds, Copts, and so on, we would have received the same treatment... The same treatment, that is, that Copts and Kurds got in the ME. Had we been Arabs, doing exactly what we do today, there wouldn't have been even a whisper of protest, but as long as we're of the "wrong" ethnic group and the "wrong" religion, we're to be criticized and blamed and hated constantly. But were we but *Arabs*, we could have gassed the Palestinians and enjoyed massive political support as long as we had a dictator who made the right sounds about Arab Nationalism and Arab Superiority. You know, just like Saddam Hussein did. But you much prefer looking outwards rather than inwards, Said, always blaming the "other" and never doing any internal criticism - it's simpler that way, isn't it? Much easier to live with oneself, ignoring all the problems in *your* backyard and that *you* have blame in, and instead focusing on a conveniently distracting Outsider.
