Miriam your comment is ridiculous. Terrorism is the use of terror to achieve political goals, usually by targeting civillians. To say that this is uniquely an Arab/Muslim phenomenon is absurd. Rami is right, that there can be Jewish terrorists - Baruch Goldstein comes to mind. On the other hand, I think it's also fair to say that the majority of terrorism today is perpetuated in the name of Islam. By comparison, the incidence of Jewish terrorism is miniscule. The other big problem is that when a terrorist like Goldstein carried out his attack, the vast majority of Jewish cringed in horror and denounced it. By contrast, the vast majority of elected Palestinian officials are applauding and excusing this slaughter of innocent Israeli civillians. So while I applaud - and I think EVERYONE on this talkback - should applaud Rami's comments, I sadly do not think they are representative of Palestinian society.

Two years ago, teenager Moshe Plesser was brutally beaten unconcious by YASSAM troops for protesting the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif. Later, he had to struggle to join the army because of his "criminal record" of protesting against the government. Moshe Plesser is the off-duty solder who killed the terrorist. The YASSAM policeman came later to shoot the corpse.

Moshe is a real hero. He deserves all the credit. Every Jew should learn from him.
