I feel such sadness for the families involved--all of them. I believe that the Dawyyat family should be allowed to grieve the loss of their family member. Imagine what a terrible time it is for them as well as they try to make sense of his senseless actions, and from the quotes from the family, it seems clear that they do not condone his actions and are honestly offering possible explanations of his actions. I think that a little kindness and empathy is needed for his family as well.

I know some whacko terrorist gang allegedly claimed responsibility, but why would anyone trust what those people say? If an Israeli got struck by lightening some jihadi group would claim responsibility for it. Most likely an isolated act of rage, especially with the guy's background.
