Wow, yet another video where the 'settlers' are lacking there tzitzim (hanging clothe), one of them isn't wearing a knitted kippa, the other is wearing a large white skull cap which is common for Muslims to wear. Didn't we see this video under the title that the supposed person at the pole was "a boy?" And wasn't the supposed attack done in response to the Palestinians burning down a Jewish field? And why now does the pole guy is claim that the soldiers stood by while the Jews abused him when we clearly see in the video that the soldier stopped the "settler" from continuing his kicks? Settlers as a whole are not nearly as violent and vicious as Palestinians. A few years ago, Palestinians deliberately shot and killed a Jewish toddler on a playground in her mother's arms. The babies father and several other Jewish children were injured as well. A few weeks later,they beat two young boys to death in a cave, these kids were so disfigured that their DNA had to be used to identify one from the other. There have been other countless similiar horrific incidents like these two, were Jews have been brutally murdered or maimed over the last few years. Jewish settlers are under constant threat of violence by Palestinian terrorists who have openly called for their death's, and sadly a very large part of the Palestinian population supports this as well. Yet for some strange reason folks like you only care when the Palestinians are the victim's of violence.

On Shabbat Jews are limited in what they can do. Stopping arsonists is permitted, but taping the criminals working is not. They come on Shabbat so that they can do their vandalism knowing that the police will never bring them before a judge for the damage they do.

I have spent time there over at least 4 years and lived at one stage for more than a year in the OPT and have repeatedly witnessed unprovoked settler violence against Palestinians. The first year I was in Palestine, in a month period or less, settlers murdered a young Palestinian boy who was harvesting olives and another settler shot point blank a Palestinian driver who he flagged down (this was done in front of at least a half dozen other Palestinians). The settlers punishment? A months or so house arrest - for premediated murder! I have also visited hebron many times and seen settler attacking Palestinians while soldiers stand by (and yes on Shabbat). I suggest you go read the testimonies of the Israeli soliders from Breaking the Silence who have repeatedly testified about settler violence. Finally, in May, Israeli newspapers, published a report which noted that since the creation of the Israeli state 60 years ago, there have been 1,634 Israeli civilians killed and 14,000 injured by "acts of terror". What the article did not mention, however, was that in the much shorter period of 7.5 years (from September 2000 to March 2008 since the beginning of the Al Aqsa intifada) that more than 3615 Palestinian civilians have been killed by Israeli state "acts of terror" and 25,650 Palestinian civilians had been wounded/

Guys, I'm extremely Right Wing in my Political beliefs, but regardless of the reason, four Jews beating up on another person, Palestinian or Jewish is just wrong. Aren't we supposed to have a higher moral character? I don't doubt that this Palestinian could have been involved in some attack on the settlement, but if violence occurs from self-defense, fine. However, Jews should NEVER instigate this type of attack. Regardless of whether this article is accurate, nobody should defend senseless violence like this, especially from us.

I am strongly against violence by anyone including Jews. Do you happen to have a link about story of the boy picking olives who was shot by settlers? From an objective newsource? If it did happen like you said, I agree it is horrible, and I condemn it in the strongest terms. I do not condone the man in this article being beaten by settlers,if this whole incident happened like he said. However, I really do think alot of these so called reports of Jewish violence against Palestinians really are exagerrated, and when it does happen, which I do not condone by the way, it is usually preceded by provocative acts and violence by Palestinians and their supporters. The man supposedly beaten in this video allegedly set fire to Jewish property. What did the infant Jewish girl do to provoke the Palestinian sniper shooting to death her on a playground? What did the two young boys do to be beaten and stoned to death? Was it because they were living illegally on *Palestinian* land as Palestinian apologists say? Let's just suppose for argument's sake, that is valid, would that make it OK for citizens of the USA to start shooting and torturing illegal aliens in California and Texas?
