People who know how to grill, only have to do it once, and the meat is to perfection. If I have to grill something 3 times, it means that I am stalling for time. Time is amazing. People forget. Soon something else takes its place and people think about something new and forget the real issue. This one buys off that one. That one doesn't want to make waves and rock the boat. Others will sit there and do nothing hoping if they ignore it, it will go away by it self. We sit behind a screen and type what we think. All of us are afraid to take that one step that is needed and that is to physically make a change. Why? Who wants to be the first one to take the step? We watch young girls do something minor, stand in the street and wave a sign, or whatever. They are arrested and held in jail for months with no one backing them except their parents and friends. We wag out heads and say that is a shame, knowing down inside of us we don't want that to happen to us. Mean while, we sit and read about grilling......again.....and again while at the same time read the next article that's states we are going to free murderers, and can't decide when the police should shoot a terrorist, before or after he kills someone. When the people of Israel has had enough of this corruption, get organized, then and only then will something be done. Don't wait for some saviour politician. There is no one qualified. Excuse me, I have to go, my steak is WELL DONE.

The police are doing an excellent job given who they are investigating! They have said that if Olmert were not PM that he would have been charged long ago. He is restricting them as much as he can but they are amassing more and more evidence against him and when he's indicted he will go - hopefully to share a cell with Hirchson! Better to wait and have overwhelming evidence than have him slip the noose! Mike

In the usa, you have the right to remain silen. Is that different here? What does it mean that Olmert was compelled to answer? And what could they do to him if he refuses to answer or speak? I assume that 10% of the readers here are lawyers, so please explain this law to me tnx

All these so-called investigations are a show to make us believe there is a functioning impartial justice system here. As long as it is beneficial for the people at the top, they will continuii this show of a fake deomcracy. These people are all in cahoots with each other, perverting any decency and justice.

that Olmert is a Lawyer. He is a member of the brotherhood of sharks and snakes , thus he knows how to worm his way out of an interrogation. He is the Israeli version of Slick Willy! The Teflon Don! The police need to keep grilling him to tighten their noose on him. Each time he is evasive they simply go dig deeper in a new direction and keep hitting the motherload of evidence. Though he is skilled in being evasive and deceptive he had a bumbling assistant who left a bigger trail of crumbs than hanzel and gretel
