understand the reality of being an honest law abiding citizen. Especially one who is an elected official. It sounds as thought you are defending the way Olmert commiteed fraud. He lied to the people, his country, and to the police,to the non profits org. for sick children for crying outloud. That money was to benefit him, and not go into his pocket!. If that is they type of politicians you accept in your country fine. But here in Israel it is a whole different show. Yes we have had corrpupt leaders from Sharon on down. People start out good but for some reason the can't resist the temptation. Well guess what Rivkah, If I, an Israeli must uphold the law, then so do our politicians. The problem is they get away with it alot. But not this time Rivkah. If Sharon hadn't been caught up in a scandal we never would have had to watch our own being throw out of their homes. And for what? Just so the heat could be taken off of him. Well he certainly paid the price for his corruption and pig headedness didn't he? If you want to comprimise your countries laws fine, I personally don't care. But here in Israel the people are finally waking up to the sludge, filth, and corruption of our leaders and we are not going to take it any more. Enough of this already. And by the way, not ONCE did Olmerts wife go with him to promote diplomacy. Not once.
