Your countries enemy isnt Israel its syria and everytime you have been allowed yourself to be used by Syria & terrorists it backs. Today Syria & their Hizbullah puppets use Lebanon as a staging ground for wars against Israel because Assad isnt willing to use his own soilders or risk loosing Syrian territory. Syria has never recognised Lebanon and when you had a civil war, Syria moved in calling themselves peace keepers then stuck around for 30 years refusing to leave. Assad didnt accept it when you chased him out and has been looking to get back in either through the front or back door ever since. The PLO with syrian backing was responsible responsible for Israel going into Lebanon in the 80s. They killed your president because he was anti Syria. Syrian backed Hizbullah were responsible for provoking Israel into going to war in Lebanon in 2006. Now you have given Syrias puppets Hizbullah a veto in the parliament, the christians are once again being persecuted since they have been refused permision to return to their homes in Southern Lebanon they were forced to leave in 2006 You have been played like a puppet by Syria for the past 30 years and thats why you have had these wars with israel. The smart thing to do would be to push for unconditional peace with Israel and telling Assad to go screw himself and that Lebanon will not be his puppet anymore. Israel would make a much better ally than Syria - we wont try to rule your country just have diplomatic relations with it. Through Israel you can get much more friendly with the US & Europe. If Assad wants to start a war in future then we will make sure its fought on Syrian territory not Lebanese and it will help you to eventualy drive out Hizbullah.
