1. melodrama
Invicta ,   Europa   (07.17.08)
This is so morose. And melodramatic. Soldiers die in war. Soldiers are captured in war. And although it's a personal tragedy for the soldiers and their families what is with the self - pity of a whole nation? We don't see this kind of melodrama when young British, Dutch, Polish or US soldiers return home from Afghanistan and Iraq in coffins. All this public weeping and 'look at us, how sad and sorry we are'. Perhaps the answer would be to stop igniting wars with those around you. And show some 'moral fibre'.
2. this is one of the most sads day of our life!

3. CONDOLENCES
PATRIOT LEBANESE ,   BEIRUT   (07.17.08)
I pray for the dead soldiers, may God bless their sols. I think we Lebanese people don't know what Hizbullah has got us into. It caused so much sorrow & death in both Israel & Lebanon for the sake of freeing & child murderer.
4. Invicta, its a pity that you can't see the difference
Judah ,   Golan Heights,ISRAEL   (07.17.08)
This is not a case of two soldiers being killed in a war. This is the case of a terrorists attacking these soldiers on the Israeli side of the border. Then kidnapping two soldiers who were either dead or were about to die. Then for two years keeping their families in the dark about their condition. Even until yesterday the Hezbollah still claimed that one soldier was alive. Evil and cruel mental manipulation. Invicta, its because of Europeans just like you that anti-semitism has been a plague for centuries. Thankfully we now have our own Jewish country and can be haqppy or sad without getting permission.
5. #1 dear dog
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (07.17.08)
We are not british, dutch, polish or americans,we are Jews, belonging to the nation of Israel and to the G'od of Israel. We react with soul. Of course the families of citizens of the nations cited by you suffer as well with their tragedies, different from you who follow a dog god, which is your own image. You are scaringly devilish, but the G'od of Israel protects us against dog souls,so you are inofensive to us,or better yet,you are usefull for us,because you show the image of devil for all peoples of good will in this world. The G'od of Israel transform evil in blessings to His People.
6. "they are standing before the holy throne." yes, they are.
debra ,   usa   (07.17.08)
we jews in america send our love and gratitude for their sacrifice for israel and the jewish people. Hashem, please bless the soldiers, eldad and udi who gave all, and bless the great israeli nation and its brave citizens.

Sorry, could you repeat that please. But in English.
8. damn you
debbie ,   nola   (07.17.08)
you ignorant ...obviously every person and soldier means something to israel. that's what is so wrong with you- you don't get it and never will. The difference is apparent.
9. Blessed is the memory of Ehud and Eldad
Vicky ,   Ashkelon Israel   (07.17.08)
For they truly stand by a higher G-d than the mouse you worship Invicta. If you wan't to understand what we are about, read our laws. Life is more prescious than the black ligquid draged up from the bowels of hell you worship. The taking of life is a sin. We love our children, and honour them, We don't gloryfy the perpetrators that commited it - unlike Muslims. And even Christians who break the first commandent, have tortured us, But we survive, and we WILL survive for ever and ever. Hashem has so predicted. You should be quaking in your boots when he send the Meshiah.

The Golan Heights. Isn't that in Syria?
11. #9
Invicta ,   Europa   (07.17.08)
Oh Gosh, Pleeease. You are embarrassing your self. You sound like a joke. The Muslims. Who are they? Are they some homogenised group all alike with similar feelings, emotions and politics? Are they not just like everyone else? people who love their children, fight for their right of dignity and who celebrate and repent just like you. I don't think you speak for God or the Messiah. He can make his own mind up. (should he ever return) yeah right.
12. # 1 show some 'moral fibre'.
Moish ,   Manchester   (07.17.08)
take your 'moral fibre' and stuff it up your jumper, They are'nt just any soldiers THEY ARE MY BROTHERS. AM YISRAEL CHAI!
13. Invicta - look at the sectarian violence in Iraq
Mike ,   Atlanta USA   (07.17.08)
I think there's a bigger issue at stake than Israel "igniting" wars.
14. To #1 Invicta, Europa
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem Israel   (07.17.08)
We Jews/ Israelis have our differences but we are all family and when anyone of us suffers, the nation feels it. Soldiers are people too. Unfortunately for you "Invicta" it seems you don't have this feeling of belonging or any "moral fiber", so I guess you'll never understand. By the way, it was the kidnapping of these 2 men that started the war, not us igniting anything. Not to mention it was Europe that started 2 world wars and colonizing the world causing most of the strife we live with today. Some advice, get the entire story before you comment. But I guess that you must be use to listening to your Euro trash spin Dr. reporting so I don't blame you.
15. Hizballah exchange
Alessandro J. Straus ,   Brazil   (07.17.08)
I understand that the value of an israeli soldier is more than a thousand times than a terrorist, but I don't understand why the Israeli government don't exchange killed bodies just for killed bodies. The Isreali government should receive proofs that Udi and Eldad were alive to make an exchange for alive terrorists. This attitude will not help if we consider that Hizballah won't have any motivation to maintain israeli soldiers with life if in the future they can exchange israeli dead bodies for alive terrorists
16. To Invicta: And this melodrama...
alan ,   Ashkelon   (07.17.08)
is exactly what makes Israel an amazing place. The pain felt all over the country is a sign of unity and love. Israel, you must understand is a very small place. There is a very good chance that most people have some tie to each of those boys' families. Invicta (talk about morose): soldiers in other countries aren't as respected as soldiers here. I grew up in the U.S. and have lived here for three years now. It's clear that you don't understand and your comments are ignorant to say the very least. Israel did a good thing - for us and for those countries with whom you complain we are "igniting wars". Why can't you see that we've taken a huge step towards an attempt at peace? You have no reasoning, no thought. Please stop writing on impulse. I've seem some of your other comments and you really are a bit ridiculous.
17. Is that Invicta or CONVICTA??
Proud to be a Jew ,   Israel   (07.17.08)
18. To #5,
Jake   (07.17.08)
If you actually had a dog, you would not make comments that are offensive to dogs like you did in #5. Why is it that people always feel the need to refer to detestable human beings as "dogs"?
19. Invicta admires body traders like Nasrallah
Ze'ev ,   Haifa   (07.17.08)
Even muslims are disgusted with the body and parts of the bodies trade techniques of Nasrallah. If you believe in freedom and ideals why didn't you demand that Red Cross be allowed to visit the soldiers according to the Geneva Convention?
20. AN EYE FOR AN EYE A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH...
ambrosine shitrit ,   israel   (07.17.08)
... Time to not give in to the peacenik, liberal , cous cous eating, hippy, left wing middle classes....but to FIGHT and do as you would be done by.... Time to STAND up & play the same way. Sorry world ISRAEL has HAD enough....
21. invicta, the golan used to be
elan   (07.17.08)
in syrian hands, until we liberated it and pulverized their army. Those stupid sand idiots didn't know what hit them! hahahaha anyways, regarding the rest of the arab world, I think a couple of good fat nukes would solve a lot of our problems.. and you know people in Israel are becoming restless, they are loosing hope in the peace process, we are starting to realize that perhaps the arab world does want to distroy us ... no invicta, people here are becoming exceedingly impatient, WE WANT REVENGE and when the time comes revenge shall be sweet!
22. #1 Invicta
David Hudec ,   Praha, Czech Rep.   (07.17.08)
Let me explain this. See, when we commemorate those Czech soldiers who died during the world wars, it means something to Czechs-and many Slovaks too. When we look into what Dubcek tried to do to free the country from Soviet dominance, it matters. And many got sent to prison or worse were never heard from again. It matters to the nation. It was a sad period in its history. Now for the Israelis, when they lose even one soldier, it matters. Why? It's a small country. Also, it's one less person who is able to fulfuill their role in building their country. One that they have not had for 2,000 plus years. So it matters. I hope this helps you. Nashledanou a Chai !!
23. #10. Re: The Golan Heights
Jake   (07.17.08)
Take a look at a map of Europe from just 100 years ago. Did any country have the same borders it has today? Possession is 9/10 of the law, and Golan Heights has been in Israeli possession far longer than it was ever in Syria's. The other 1/10 of the law is that Syria chose to use the Golan to attack Israel for 19 years, and fatefully, to heed Nasser's goading and open up a front against Israel in the 1967 War. It did so again in 1973 and lost. Despite that, Israel returned part of the Golan to Syria in 1974. The rest of the Golan is no longer a Syrian military base for attacking its neighbor, as it was before 1967, but a true outpost of peace and tranquility. The only issue raising doubts on the Golan's fate is the Israeli government's willingness to discuss and cede Golan.
24. Invicta,10#, Golan is in Israel, is Europe in Arabia?

9/10th of the law? Not according to the International community. This annexation (of the Golan Heights) is not internationally recognized and United Nations Security Council Resolution 242 considers the area part of the Israeli occupied territories.

s ,   Tel Aviv   (07.17.08)
I agree with you regarding your comment about dogs. However, this was not what was meant here and I tend to agree that invicta is very poorly educated and definitely belongs on the side of the muslims who don't care about lives being lost since they are so happily sacrificing each life. To them, death is a cause for celebration. They have a lot of double standards. It is OK to die in the name of Allah and endanger so many people to release one criminal. Did they care about this? Do they care about their people at all? Europe is today Arabland so, this fits perfectly their mentality.
28. INVICTA- the stupid goy
Boris ,   NYC/USA   (07.17.08)
like Invicta could never understand the grief a Jew experiences at the loss of our own.

If you really have guts show your real name and e-mail....you just come here to spew hate....
30. #22 - It matters mostly because we care
s ,   Tel Aviv, IL   (07.17.08)
22, it matters for a lot more reasons than you described. Each human being and each human life here is highly valued. We respect life. We even respect the lives of our ennemies and while casualties are not always avoidable, there is definitely no desire to harm, on the contrary, especially when it comes to innocent people. But the manipulations and horrible weapons used against their own people just to make Israel look bad really works well, especially on brainless Brits whose population is clearly mostly Arab and who are kidding themselves by believing that they are tolerant and partial. We, in Israel, truly care about each single person; that is what makes us different.
