Seemingly, just when the soldier fires a shot, a larger explosion seems to go off. The sound from the shot seems more like that of a stun grenade. What makes it even more probable that it's a stun grenade that goes off is the fact that both of the two soldiers at the right hand side of the picture seems to react to the sound in a way you wouldn't from a rifle shot, given you know it's coming. Also - at the exact time of what seems to be the firing of the soldier from his rifle, the one holding the camera obviously reacts to the surprise stun grenade. Why the jerking and interruption of filming? It's a stund grenade going off at the same time (or so it seems) the soldier fires a shot towards the ground.

I'm sure the IDF will blow this one off as it does with all the other offenses by its soldiers, but what is even more disturbing are the comments by many Israelis trying to, in any way, justify the actions of the IDF or point to deplorable acts of others to minimize this crime like children as if that excuses it. To the casual observer, the actions of the IDF appear to be no better than those whom Israel seeks to condemn, and it already seems hat the line has become a blurry one at that.

in order for IDF to be 99.99999 % honorable and dignified. you need to have 10,000,000 soldiers and one of the should be not. since IDF does not have 10,000,000 soldiers and there are at least two in this picture. IDF can only be 99.999 % honest and dignified. Plus I am not counting IDF members who raped mother and sister of my friend who lives in New York and cannot go back to visit her family with the fear that same will happen to her as well. IDF human right violations are so widespread that your pathetic statistics may only be true on the reverse .

The idea that this incident doesn't represent IDF values is Israeli military propaganda as usual. 1. the girl has been told to shoot the film toward soldier who is going to be aiming his gun . 2. Someone shoots at the group of soldiers interrogating the protester .(We don't see that) 3.Then the soldier aims his gun where shot was fired , in direction of the camera . 4.Someone shoots again near protestor's leg , this time for the camera . 5. Protestor falls (maybe he knows all about it ). 6 meanwhile girl is shooting whole thing with camera and receives phone call from shooter asking "if she got it all on film " 7 .more propaganda against Israel , maybe it will convince the world how much they are suffering because of Israeli abuse . more crying and asking for help .....and the most important they need MORE MONEY ...... 8. propaganda for the whole Arab world and media to show atrocities committed by the evil Jews ..... 9. either way they can't lose ......because as long as it is to criticizes Jews ...Arab with gleefully accept without question what their media tell them ......MORE PALLYWOOD ..... more pallywood ....
