1. A "Yeshiva student",no less, was standing right next to Obama
Miriam ,   Israel   (07.29.08)
at the Kotel who was there without any security officers surrounding him and watched Obama place a paper in the Wall and then immediately took it out of there and publicized it. Makes no sense whatsoever. What could have happened: A "Yeshiva student" happened to be going to the Kotel after Obama and noticed an unfolded note from Obama that fell out of the wall onto the floor, as it wasn’t deeply inserted. This makes more sense. But Leftists media must fabricate some sensational tale to make it interesting to slam “Yeshiva student”. Not surprising.
2. not only that
Jane   (07.29.08)
it now appears that Ma'ariv and Obama's "people" had an understanding about the note - arranged before Obama even left the King David Hotel - that the note would be broadly disseminated.
3. Miriam
Jay ,   USA   (07.29.08)
Or maybe- just maybe he WAS close enough to see where the note was inserted and he did take it out, just as he admits! Typical of you to blame others rather then accepting that anyone you consider religious would do anything wrong. Grow up.
4. Stupid Rabbi
Obama Hoax   (07.29.08)
Why is the rabbi apologizing, this was clearly staged? If any one needs to apologize it’s the Maariv news paper, but they came out and said that they consulted with Obama’s campaign and they said it can be published. The paper was written by a speech writer... What a hoax, Stupid Israeli fools Oh wait! Let’s blame the yeshiva guy. I WANT TO KNOW THE NAME OF THE YESHIVA GUY, AND THE YESHIVA HE LEARNS IN!
5. And Israelis keep on apologizing -- for nothing.
AK   (07.29.08)
Like with al-Dura case, premature apology will give legitimacy to a lie.
6. Apologize for what? For not publishing it fast enough?
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (07.29.08)
The Obama entourage released the note to the press.
7. Ma'ariv was asked by Obama to publish the note
Amir ,   Beer Sheva   (07.29.08)
8. Arutz has just reported that it was the NOBAMA campaign that
lleaked it BEFORE he ,   went 2 the wall. !!   (07.29.08)
9. MAKE IT AN A CRIMINAL OFFENCE
Adamush   (07.29.08)
to remove a note from the Western Wall. A criminal offence to read any such note. And a further criminal offence to divulge the contents of any note.
10. those rabbis and their sweet words
observer   (07.30.08)
they call garbage a rightful place
11. Lord!, that's a G-d other than yours; Lord Balfour

12. #1: get real!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (07.30.08)
what's with all this "conspiracy theory" nonsense? is rabbi rabinowitz, the official rabbi of the western wall, also trying to defame yeshiva students? or has he also been coerced into this conspiracy? in light of the fact that the obama campaign was consulted and agreed to maariv's publishing of the note, perhaps it was all pre-arranged. not to make yeshiva bokhers look bad, but to make obama look good. sometimes political campaigns engage in what are called "publicity stunts". let's just hope that this one rebounds to israel's benefit!
13. Right move
Regen   (07.30.08)
I amnot a supporter of Obama, but one must say that publishing his paper on the wall to the press was a immoral act that needs to be condemened. The rabbi is correct in that
14. Apologise for the Obama Team stunt?? Don't think so.
(08.01.08)
15. out on the board
Dan ,   Marlborough, MA   (08.02.08)
They can't stand the idea that a black man may be the best president for us. Why do you hate America?
16. Obama paid him - I would bet
Josh   (09.04.08)
Obama runs such a sleezy campaign, I would not doubt he paid the kid to do it for the hope of getting free publicity.
