1. Avraham is hot...
Temblor ,   USA   (07.31.08)
I would go to Israel just to visit her.
2. I agree, she's hot
Yossu ,   Canada   (08.01.08)
i'd go out with her in a sec, despite her being from that morally corrupt party kadima. but my fav MK is Limor Livnat. she's one hot cougar.
3. Just what we need
(08.01.08)
Hope we don't get a lot of tourists in disguise; I mean Russian non-Jews who come here looking for work and end up staying as illegal foreign workers.
4. Not just about the visas, Minister Ms. Avraham Balila
(08.01.08)
Its about the high cost of hotels Its about the poor services provided Its about the rudeness of the Israelis Its about the high cost of the food Its about the high cost of the taxis and above all its about the mentality that Isarelis can easily and freely take advantage of visitors!
5. This fits in well with new prohibition on plastic bags
Yored   (08.02.08)
These soviets will come with their own 50-year old wrinkly reusable netbags they have used to queue in shops since 1945. How wonderful that soon Israel will have the same system!
6. wonderful news for hoteliers
Greg Yoran ,   London   (08.01.08)
Make sure your staff checks the towels, ashtrays, taps, sinks, carpets, lamps, glass panes from the windows, door knobs, television sets, blankets, pillows, bedframes etc. before the Russian guests check out, they may inadvertently have borrowed some of these items.
7. #1 Ignorant fool thinks it's relevant
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (08.01.08)
Come to Israel and see the results of this stupid, stupid, stupid decision. We are already corroding from when Visas were required. Ignorant fool doesn't know what it is like to be here with a steamrolling culture being given free access. Ruhama's being attractive will certainly soothe Israeli Jews when everything they fought for is swallowed up into a black hole.
8. #4
Brian ,   Raanana, IL   (08.02.08)
You're right, especially about the rudeness. As an oleh who's been here for a year and a half at this point, I can honestly say that while I love this country, the people here are easily the rudest (!) and most disingenuous people on earth. It's really shameful the way your average Israeli behaves in public. But in their defense, they don't treat tourists (or immigrants, for that matter) any worse than they treat each other.
9. # 4 NO NAME? COWARD.
Petra ,   USA   (08.02.08)
IF YOU FELT THIS WAY, WHY NOT ADD YOUR NAME? ARE YOU ASHAMED? YOU SHOULD BE.
10. Visa
Antonio ,   Spain   (08.02.08)
Russian influence is growing too much with no sense, thus the visa elimination is a bad new, and another demonstration about that not recommendable influence.
11. #9
Brian ,   Raanana, IL   (08.02.08)
Why should #4 feel ashamed for not putting his name? It's not as though if he did anyone would have a clue who he is. Hmmmm...Petra...from the USA.... OH! It's so obvious! You must be Petra Goldberg from Teaneck, New Jersey, 135 Main Street, Apartment 6. Yes, it was quite brave of you to share "Petra, USA" with us.
12. Enough venomous tb's about the Russians
Mike   (08.03.08)
If Russians wrote the same about us, we'd rightly call it antisemitic and raise hell here. Let's learn to behave -- it's only fair. If it brings in illegal workers, it's only because some of us (Israelis) are eager to employ such workers. If it brings in prostitutes (I'm preempting here) it's only because some of us are interested in their services. As to stealing towels and door handles from hotels, I have recently read the same about Israeli tourists in England. Both smell suspiciously familiar -- like the stories about us adding the blood of Christian babies to matzot. Chill out, let's not embarrass ourselves.
