31. #25 - the brazilian moron porports to speak for all of us...
Andy ,   Ramat HaSharon   (08.01.08)
Learn some English before you post on an english language website keren.
32. Keeping History
David Hudec ,   Praha, Czech Rep   (08.01.08)
The comments are getting kind of interesting, and I have something to say on it. There's a reason why we take teenagers to the Temple Institute. And that is, they have a right to learn about a part of their history that many people who come to the country don't even have the opportunity to experience. The so called "History" textbooks that they study will never teach them anything about this. For one, those books focus on the history of the host country, so if Jews are mentioned at all, it tends to be in passing. Also, in some countries, they are prohibited from learning the materials in public schools at all. So that leaves them with having to learn THEIR history-that is Jewish history-from either their parents or through their local Jewish community. English Person: so you mentioned that you had family that had to leave Bialystock. Well, if you choose to throw away your heritage and live as English-fine. But it's really not fair of you to come onto an Israeli site and bring everyone else down with you. There are those of us who love and cherish their heritage. The Jewish one. Nazdar
33. To English person
Joseph ,   Los Angeles, CA   (08.01.08)
When you say world war, do you mean 8 arab countries against Israel, or do you honestly believe that the whole world would fight over that little area? Why do you even care? No one is talking about destroying the mosque, and since this isn't happening in London, it shouldn't concern you. Unless of course you're jewish, which I doubt. Don't nitpick either, just because every arab isn't muslim, doesn't mean you need to point that out every time someone says Arab instead of Muslim. P.S. They (Muslims) built over our temple, you have to be insane to think we'd turn around and do that to them.
34. 25 personal attacks are a sign of a small mind
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (08.01.08)
where do i start? israel IS for christians (even jewish elementary schools here teach that israel is the land also of christianity. do ever you wonder why that is?). loving and respecting anyone is NOT a prerequisite to being welcomed here. israel welcomes people like me according to their RIGHTS under the LAW (which, even though you desperately want it to be, is NOT based on the talmud). you don't like jesus followers among you teaching you? ok. though it's a free country being ignorant is not a crime. you don't like jesus followers "sticking in your issues"? not sure what you mean, but a little advice: displaying your personal "issues" publicly like you often do tends to cause people (followers and non-followers alike) to avoid. like the plague. "stupidities", hmm. i must admit that you are much more the expert in the realm of things stupid, so i have to defer to you on the subject. despite the various annoyances, my country israel is such a nice place to live, don't you think?
35. #33 Joe
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (08.01.08)
I wouldnt be so sure about that Joe. There are a ot of people who would, (if they thought for a second that theywould get away with it) tear down the mosque and start rebuilding.... It wouldnt take much to start these crazies off... And then my friend, we WILL be involved, even if we dont want to be...
36. #31 well,if you react so much to my words...
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (08.01.08)
and ,eagerly ,read ALL posts,it must mean that my english is not that bad and can communicate quite well- the primary purpose of a language-;normativeness is a second step, meant not only for beautyness but also can be used to ignate prejudice, hate and social differences (not that I don't like a beautifull spoken language.I do!). I could write in portuguese and translate to others to english. Do you understand portuguese or other languages? It is important to know more than the native language, the only one required to be spoken perfectly. In my view ,of course. And no,I don't speak in the name of all you, since I can not stand with gays.Ma laasot...Not everybody must be lenient to evil and sin, don't you think?
37. BUILD IT ALREADY! ENOUGH TALK.

38. 36 language "ignate prejudice, hate and social differences"
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (08.01.08)
and you use language in that way so well. maybe we should "be lenient to evil and sin, don't you think?" when it comes to what you write?
39. #33
malik ,   Paris   (08.01.08)
It would be extremely prejudice to characterize this issue with the term Arab, as this involves over a billion Muslims. And a small percentage of the Muslim population globally is Arab. It is like me saying that this issue only refers to Eastern Jews, not Judaism as this would be laughable. Therefore, please do not refer to Arabs, but Muslims in all discussions regarding Masjid Al Aqsa.
40. Women for the ETERNAL TEMPLE!
Ana ,   USA   (08.01.08)
I think the idea of making women participants in this Glorious Enterprise will be rewarded in Heavens! We women never were part of the Sin of the Calf, in this merit may The Holy One bring us to the King Messiah in our days!
41. Third Temple
Ed ,   Topsham, Maine, USA   (08.01.08)
Jeremiah wrote: "Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever." Jer. 7:3-7 The Temple that Men should be concerned about is the one in Heaven, the true tabernacle of which the Earthly was but a pattern. Direct your prayers to Heaven, where G_D truly lives. This is what Abraham the friend of G_D did.
42. We have build our own streets synagogues first.
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem Israel   (08.01.08)
If we were so into building our own country we wouldn't have terrorists go on mad tractor rampages in our cities. If people don't think they should be obligated to serve in the army, then they should do their national service by building the country. Who's temple would it actually be if foreigners have to build it for us? There's no way we're going to have a 3rd temple until we all WORK together. Shabbat Shalom
43. G_d Did Not Tell You That Temple Had To Be On Dome of Rock
World Citizen ,   the world   (08.01.08)
Why don't you just pick out a nice piece of property in Tel Aviv and build it there? The Wailing Wall isn't even part of the first or second temple. It's part of the old wall fortifications of the city of Jerusalem. Israelis are just locking themselves into a fable spun out of religious mumbo-jumbo. Get over it and move totally over to your real religion, Shoatism
44. Temple Site
Stephen Ray Hale ,   Midland, Texas USA   (08.01.08)
The temple site might be better placed in an area of non-dispute, like the ACTUAL site of the several temples from Solomon to Herods. In the ophel South of Fort Antonia, the so called temple mount and that rock upon which Jesus stood when Pilate judged him. The real temple site should be sitting ABOVE the Gihon Springs. Before the Maccabees razed the site to the bedrock and then some, Mt. Zion was a bit further south of the ophel and once stood above the temple complex, now it is lower. Purpose of this was that the Greeks had control of the citidel above the southern part of the temple area and harrassed the activities in the temple before the Maccabbees regained control. Jesus and Josephus said there was no stone unturned of the temple and of Jerusalem and that so called temple mount has nearly ten thousand stones one above another. It would be a coup to short circuit the despite of the Muslims in control of the currant so called temple site to have the next temple on the original sites, and perhaps have that impressive pinnicle that reached from the bottom of the Kidron 50 or so stories up to the southeast corner of a column lined wall surrounding the courtyard. What I do not know is the currant theological take on having the now polluted Gihon Springs in the vicinity of a temple, for it was said that when it turned in the 1100's AD, that was when the Jews who knew, lost interest in that site.
45. The temple shall be built
Chris ,   England   (08.01.08)
Not all English people are as vicious and spiteful as it would seem. Of course, over here in England there is violence without religion. Take football hooligans for example, who kick each other to death over a game. And look at how many people are stabbing each other to death over here, without religion playing any part whatsoever. No, religion is not the issue, it is violent people who want their own way that are the problem, just like the English Person who commented earlier vehemently opposed Israel because he wants his own opinions to be forced down everybody's throats. The Tanakh says that people will dispise the Jews, but that the Lord shall re-establish Israel in the latter days. The temple is going to be rebuilt. May God bless the Jews and cause them to multiply.
46. # 43 Why Can't Arabs Develop an Idea of Their Own
Thomas   (08.01.08)
Why did they have to ripoff the Jewish religion in creating their islam. It's no coincidence to anybody that they built the Dome of the Rock Mosque where the two temples stood and where a octogaonal-shaped Crusader church stood before your mosque.islam is a revision of the former two and nothing more.
47. David Hamelech also had to wait fro Shlomo tyo build it
sara ,   brooklyn usa   (08.01.08)
48. The dome of the rock islamic supremacy building
Johnny ,   Stockholm Sweden   (08.01.08)
The dome of the rock needs to be dismantled in an orderly manner, and be sent back to Saudia Arabia. The dome of the rock was built purpously at the most holy place on earth in order to show their supremacy over the creator of the univers. This is of course false, but it shows their intentions and care for non muslims. It's time to dismantle it now.
49.  Remove Their Dome and them.
PATRIOT ,   chicago,US   (08.02.08)
Muslims follow the false prophet. They are members of a 'False' religion and their Dome is a monument to falseness. Jesus is the Messiah. Build the Third Temple and be done with it. If the muslims don't like it, too bad!! Show some courage and just do it. but do it right!
50. temple

52. #43 The Dome Of The Rock Dates from mid-7th Century
World Citizen ,   the world   (08.01.08)
That's roughly 650 AD for people like yourself that don't know the history of the area. Are you an American Christian Zionist? How could there have been a "Crusader" fort at that site since the Crusades didn't start until sometime in the 11th Century ???!!!!
53. Third Temple
Jim ,   N attleboro MA USA   (08.02.08)
Praise the God of Israel! We are in the end of man's rule and it was prophisied that once the third temple was built, Jesus would return. I would love to be part of the construction.

55. Clebrating the rebuilding to the Holy Temple.
Dorothy Finlay ,   Tauranga NZ   (08.03.08)
It is with great excitement that I read about the gathering this week to reafirm the commitment to the rebuilding of the Holy Temple. I am saddened to read the opinion of some Jews who seem to be ignorant of their own prophets. Ezekiel 40 and following clearly described the temple to be build. Haggai and Malachi talk of the Lord coming suddenly to His temple. The current building on the Temple Mount is the 'desolation of abominations' referred to in Daniel where those who hate the G-d of Israel seek to desecrate His Temple, and the place that King David purchased and dedicated forever to the G-d of Israel. I want to congratulate Rabbi Glick and the Temple Institute and Faith Movement in reaffirmming the truth, which King Solomon prayed when the first temple was dedicated. in 1 Kings 9 v 3..The G-d of Israel said to Solomon"I have heard your prayer..I have consecrated this House which you have built to put My Name there forever and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually" Today the enemies of the G-d of Israel have been allowed by Israel to retain the possession of that Holy place. The time is now for those who trust in their God to be strong prepare all thay can to see the Temple Mount in the hands of the Jewish people and see them turning to their G-d and worshipping only Him. Throughout Tanackh G-d met with His Kings and Priests in the Temple and again I believe He will again soon reveal Himself as the Lord God Almighty the King of the Jews and Lion of the Tribe of Judah. G-d bless you all.
56. Building the New Temple
Diane Thomas ,   Alameda, USA   (08.03.08)
I think this is a wonderful idea. It must be very exciting to all the faithful. It is very important to keep a grip on your national dreams and to follow through with God's commands. No matter who says what. I don't know why anyone would accuse Israeli youth of being brainwashed; that is totally absurd. I would be more likely to say that most world leaders suffer that problem. Ignorance abounds when it comes to what God has said about Israel. He keeps ALL HIS promises. The world is amiss by thinking it can force Israel to do anything.
57. Third Temple is a coming, like it or not!

SHEMA YISRAEL ADONAI ELOHEINU MASHIAJ EJAD.JESUSALEN IS THE WORD OF THE LORD AND THE LAST TEMPLE.
59. #4 Ariel
David ,   USA   (08.04.08)
Do you think it possible that Nebuzaradan could destroy the Temple and Yerushalayim in one day? Doesn't it make sense to you that perhaps it began on the 7th and continued through the 9th until whatever day it was completely destroyed? I am with you, I believe we are to be true to Torah, however, we need to think these things through also. Regardless, 7th or 9th, to mourn on the 9th is not a bad thing to do. We should forever remember and mourn the destruction until HaShem turns our mourning to rejoicing. Let's pray that He will be merciful to those like Simon, #1 who lives a life described in Torah as an abomination and fights against moral improvement in Eretz Israel. Maybe some day these people will t'shuvah.
