1. A nice clean Likud race
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (08.05.08)
And given the wonderful way that the Likud has done things in the past we should vote them back into power? We need new accountable politicians - end the status quo where where we rotate between the 3 parties all of whom have had investigations for in appropriate activities.
2. Again, you have it wrong....
Z Lando ,   Tekoa, Israel   (08.05.08)
Kadima was BUILT by corrupt figures in the Likud that were begining to feel pressure in an attempt to clean up the party. When Sharon, Olmert, Bar-on, etc left the Likud, I felt that I could once again vote for the Likud
3. Can someone explain
Miriam ,   Israel   (08.05.08)
the difference between the 3 Leftist parties: Labor, Kadima, Meretz. They all seem to have the same political policies of going out of their way to appease Arabs with little consideration for Jews and the safety of Israel.
4. Olmert's new art form
Rachel ,   Negev   (08.05.08)
Flawed norms? Olmert / Kadima have turned corruption into a whole new art form. By the way, don't you love the Y-NET bias towards the Likud in their back handed depiction of corruption in the Likud? The Likud learned all about corrupt ways of taking advantage of being in power from decades of socialism under Labor rule.
5. corruption in kadima????
sas ,   israel   (08.05.08)
it's foundation was built on corruption. how can things change when the people got worse??????
6. 2: Lando fails in the analysis
David ,   Rehovot   (08.05.08)
Since Kadima was created, a number of Likud leaders have been jailed for corruption and Bib is being investigated. This isn't a party problem, it's a problem with Israel's political system. Just how misguided are you?
7. When Hirschsohn sits on the podium ...
Bruno ,   Haifa   (08.05.08)
you know that Kadima has lost any moral authority.
8. Corruption in Kadima ?
I.Kemp ,   Nahariya Israel   (08.05.08)
Certainly morally if not financially .Likud doesn't know how fortunate they are to be shot of Mofaz and Drippy Livni. If Bibi is stupid enough to let either one back into Likud than he is no better than Olmert
9. allegedly backed up by documents, which have not materialize
redmike ,   Tel Aviv   (08.05.08)
"allegedly backed up by documents, which have not materialized", how can you back up something with documents that didn't materialize? Mike :-)
10. #3 - Next election; Labor 9-10 seats; Kadima 11-12; Meretz 0
redmike ,   Tel Aviv   (08.05.08)
Kadima's seats will depend on who wins in the primaries, if they have one. Kadima's lawyers say another vote is needed because it's not sure that the primaries are legal. Mike
11. Is this a reprint of an old article?
Adam Eliyahu Berkowi   (08.05.08)
If I remember correctly, Kadima was almost kept out of the last election by an attempt to pass a law that if a certain percentage of the delegates from a certain arty were under investigation for criminal charges, the party could not have a member become prime minister. This would have ruled out Kadima and Olmert. I don't understand why Likud is considered right wing but let's say it is. Comparing the level of corruption in likud to the level of corruption in Kadima is laughable. Kadima is a non-party, composed of opportunists with no ideology to speak of.
12. You Gotta Like It!
Ely ,   Pardes Chana   (08.05.08)
You must admit that the Kadima Leaders have good taste and love the color of their Kneset seats. Now the people must close down this party so Kadima will know what it mean's to stand!
13. A Leopard never Changes its Spots
Shimon Z. Klein ,   Bat Chefer, Israel   (08.05.08)
Most of Kadima's members are ex-Likudniks. As ex-Likudniks their tradition of corruption went with them into Kadima. A leopard never changes its spots even if it changes its party. What's the surprise? In any case, it would not be a surprise if many Kadima members return to the Likud.
14. Kadima, corruption and Ynet
Gadi ,   Mitzpeh Har Halutz   (08.05.08)
One can tell that elections are drawing near by the fact that no matter what political story Y net publishes, an unfavorable mention of "Likud" is always a norm. If it can't be done with the formidable Likud of today then we go back to the corrupt days before those dirty politicians that left Likud to join Kadima.
15. Corruption in Kadima?
AVROHOM BILGREI ,   ZION   (08.05.08)
FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ! CORUPTION ? WHY THERE'S NO MORE CHANCE OF THAT THEN, LET'S SAY ................. YOUR COMPUTOR NOT OPPERATING IMPECCABLY AFTER 6 MONTS OF OPPERATING IT WITHOUT VIRUS PROTECTION !
16. You did not understand the joke
Ron ,   Tel Aviv   (08.05.08)
Corruption in Kadima is like gambling in Casino! Shoking. Native born Israelis absolutely corrupt. look at Rabin, Barak, Olmert, Sharon, Livni. These people will sell Jews for a little cash by the Diaspora Jews. They call it a game to make money. They are not Ben Gurion, Begin, Golda, Shamir. Bibi is from a very good family and he does not have to be corrupt to make money. The rest are in this game for money and only MONEY. They are looking American sugar daddies who will pay them.
17. Livni and Sharon's advisors: say no more!
Ilan ,   Ariel   (08.06.08)
Ariel Sharon used vote contractors and and a whole array of shady deals to get delegates (same situation exists in Labor still). The mechanism is corrupt to the core and is built into the primary systems of all the parties that require membership to vote. Livni wants to pose as clean but has hired on the worst offenders to run her campaign. A little strange.
