Artillery bombing proceeded all day long, and fight with the use of tanks and heavy military machinery was lead against both Ossetian Army and civilian inhabitants. 2000 innocent civilians are already killed. The Russian peacemakers arrived to South Ossetia in the evening of August 8th, 2008 to settle the conflict and prompt peace in the republic and to protect Russian citizens living on the territory of South Ossetia. Georgia has attacked South Ossetia on the eve of Olympic games, which is extremely cruel and cynical.
