The IAF airman who drops the bomb on the home of the terrorist aims to kill a specific target. The suicide bomber's aim is to kill as many random people as possible. According the Geneva Conventions, the terrorist who hides among civilians is responsible for putting them at risk, not the fighter pilot. Whereas the suicde bomber doesn't hit military targets but civilians ones directly which is considered illegal. I have seen numerous videos-enough to know the reality is that we are facing a deadly enemy, yet Israel is being "barred" from defending itself. My other concern is, given the extreme training the enemy is receiving--what is our own IDF doing to counter all of this--or has our corrupt government decided that defense is not necessary??

I am constantly keeping up to date on news from Israel, and have been honoured to visit twice, with my daughter, who loves your land and people. Firstly, who do you think pays for Palestinian care in Israeli hospitals? Secondly, the issue is that Israel is treating enemies in its own hospitals. Saudi Arabia have some of the most advanced hospitals in the world, how many Israeli Jews you think get treated there - at any price? You think Russia right now is taking in Georgians for hospital treatment? Thirdly, a suicide bomber evades any number of military targets - such as checkpoints and soldiers, go specifically to civilian areas, looks into the eyes of his/her targets and chooses them to die. It is not an accident or even lack of concern that was responsible for the author's daughter dying, it was a deliberate choice by the suicide bomber. This is born out by the stats where over 2/3 of Israelis killed were civilians far from any combat zone. The 1-tonne bomb at least killed one "wanted" man - you neglect to mention he was a senior member of Hamas roughly equivalent to the head of the Mossad and Shabak combined. Fourthly, Palestinian Gazan kids have plenty of access to pools and the sea and playgrounds. Hamas isn't poor and Palestinians are the highest per capita recipients of world aid in history - they outweigh the Marshal plan in per capita aid. They have plenty of money for weapons but somehow cannot pay for swings... Finally, this argument about "end the occupation" and all will be well is simple blindness. We ended the occupation in Lebanon and in Gaza, we didn't in the West Bank and on the Golan - guess where is quiet and guess where rockets are coming from.

This is the only real way to get peace and prevent more innocvent people being killed - on both sides!
