Mr Biden's position on Iran is one of appeasement. He is adamently opposed to military action against Iran. He is a major supporter of "dialogue" with Iran. An Obama/Biden presidency will do nothing to stop Iran & everything to stop us.

The reason that Biden would be better than Obama is that he has more experience and more consistency along a far longer voting record (as does McCain, btw). Obama is sorely lacking in substance and experience, not to mention integrity. In his few years in the Illinois Senate: 1) Obama, despite his call for integrity, supported corrupt mayor Richard Daley's campaign, as well as corrupt alderman Dorothy Tillman. 2) Despite his fans representing him as being the 'real' and/or 'actually left' candidate, Obama preferred to vote 'present' on some 130 votes in the Illinois Senate. Out of about 140. No reason to do this unless you want to avoid controversy by avoiding actually expressing an opinion of any kind. In his two seconds in the US Senate: 1) Despite calling for bipartisanship, Obama has generally voted against bipartisan bills. 2) Specifically, he voted for massive amendments in the immigration bill that would favor the exact interests of labor unions (who are strong in his home state of llinois). This despite his alleged platform of reducing the interests of lobbyists in Washington. 3) Despite championing campaign finance reform, he decided to turn down public campaign financing (once he realized that he was getting massive private funds, far more than McCain) I could go on all day but I don't have the time. (For those interested, I recommend Charles Krauthammer's op-ed pieces in the Washington Post. Obama's given him enough fodder for at least eight op-eds in the past half year.) And this is just my criticism without even going into Obama's largely unrevealed personal agenda. In this capacity, his friendship with Rashid Kalidi is a little worrying, just to name one. If Obama doesn't get elected, it won't be the race issue, it will be the substance issue. Obama's supporters, many of whom are knee-jerk anti-Republicans, recognize this lack of substance and experience. Hence, the focus of his campaign on race and charisma. They're hoping that most people will get swept up by the messianic fervor generated at the rallies (NYTimes corrrespondent Chris Matthews: 'I felt a thrill up my leg') For the rest, they hope to convince people that if they dislike Obama it can't possibly be because of a legitimate reason (such as the man's implied positions or his avoidance of positions or his lack of experience and/or candor) but rather that they dislike him because they are racist deep-down. (A notable example of this tactic: The adoption of 'Hussein' by Obama fans en masse.) What rubbish. In a tactic of cheap demogoguery, based on the inherent desire of most Americans to feel that they are champions of opportunity and tolerance, they're trying to guilt Americans into voting for the black man. If anything, race is Obama's ticket in, not, as you claim, his ticket out.

Sadly, the US has a choice between two very mediocre candidates and neither of them will be able to correct America's financial decline or regain its influence. Two factors that will cause Obama lose the election in November: The first one has nothing to do with Hillary but everything to do with the fact that according to many polls at least 10% of the Americans are not ready to vote for a black man no matter who is in his ticket. The second one has everything to do with Hillary. There is a good percenatge of the Americans that are angry that Hillary lost the primaries. They even think that the primaries' victory was stolen from her. These people might have voted for Obama had he chosen Hillary. Now Obama may expect the worst. Not choosing Hillary is the greatest mistake of his life.
