A "gay" parade in Jerusalem, is an abomination. People who choose this lifestyle are entitled to live how they wish--but this is an issue that belongs in the privacy of their own homes--not in the streets of Jerusalem, which is acknowledged as a Holy City to three major religions. The officials who allow this are spineless, self-serving wimps. While I think Mr. Gaydamak is grasping at straws with his "if I am elected" remark, I applaud his willingness to stand up and be counted in this matter.

I think Gaydamak is a politician who realizes that the majority of people in Jerusalem dread the idea of a gay parade in their city. I think he's trying to show that he will defend the interests of the majority of people in Jerusalem. That's how a democracy works. Gays should stay in Tel-Aviv where they are the majority.

Why can't people just live there lives the best they can, and try to accept that some people are different. I personally don't think it's right for people to live outside the laws of the Torah, but, The Torah should not be used as a weapon. What is hateful to you, don't do to anyone else. it is you who are confused. According Harward study 87% of people are born gays and only later in life they become straigt. So in effect gays are more normal than straights. Amazing, but true.
