31. it is a problem of an apathetic people
sam wessfield ,   jerusalm   (08.27.08)
this is a well written article. it also the anglo population of israel who cant belive whats going ona nd i think more than anything the biggest problem is the apathy of the people. i know that if this were happening in england there would have been demonstrations all across the country and by now rioting. its the peoples fault. we dont care we do nothing and allow these people to get away with everything. untill we are willing to stand up in the street and fight for democracy and proper behaveour nothing will change. i think israleis have had it too good and have forgotton what it is like to live in a non democratic country. the problem in israel is that it appears to democratic when in fact it is anything but. right now it is a dicatorship mascerading as a democracy
32. simply dont vote!!!!!!
daniel ,   jerusalem   (08.27.08)
i think it all comes down to demonstration. if we were willing to demonstarte then they would be held accountable. the problem is we are not. it would be fantastic that in the next elections, whenever they will be if at all, everybody stayed at home and dint vote. that we has only 2% turn out.....imagine all the people not voting as one.....the reason...because there is no one worthy of us to vote for. all the options are just as bad as each other and untill we get a choice between good and great and not terrible and worse we are simply not going to vote. if our leaders are not going to behave correctly then we will simply no aknoledge them. but ofcourse this will never happen.....nothing new under the sun and this will end as it allways does in our hostory..disaster....death and suffering. it seems to be a jewish sickness that we are not capable of forsight but only hindsight after haveing oure heads smashed in and our knees brokken. Gd help us
33. Correct analysis; forgot the solution
Helen ,   Maalot   (08.27.08)
We need local representation in the Knesset. That way, MKs won't be able to ignore us and we will feel connected to our leaders and representatives.

amalia ,   new york   (09.04.08)
I used to wonder how with all of its brainpower , how Israelis could tolerate such weak and corupt leadership. Then came Obama's nomination. now I am too busy campaigning Republican!
