Tamir has tried to remove all Israeli history (60 years) from text books and to replace it with Arab history thereby making Israeli kids feel guilty about serving in the IDF. Yes only a fool would deny the suffering by Arabs that left or were displaced from modern day Israel. One would also be equally foolish to ignore the massive displacement of Jewish Arab residents of Eqypt, Iraq, Yemen, Algeria, etc that were kicked out and had all property confiscated. I have relatives that grew up speaking Arabic and French and were kicked out of Alexandria, had real estate, businesses and other property stolen by the Egyptian government and arrived in Israel with nothing but the clothes on their back. Israel is honest enough to teach the suffering of the Palestinians and should continue to do so. Why do the Arab countries not teach the suffering of their Jewish residents that were beaten, imprisoned, robbed and expelled?
