They dont just loose the body of somebody like Eli Cohen they just dont want his body found and returned ever because one of the main reasons they lost in 1967 was because of this Israeli spy they allowed to infiltrate the highest levels of the Syrian politican and military hierarchy. Israel knew where Syrian troops were stationed on the Golan because Cohen had advised the generals to plant trees at these sites to give a little shade to the brave Syrian soilders so they did and the IDF knew exactly where to go ... just look for the trees. Even if this information was in exchange for the Golan giving Israel back the the remains of the man that made conquering it possible would be an embaresment fot the Assad regime. At the end of the day allthough sad that he doesnt have a grave site to mourn at its his soul that matters and it doesnt matter what the arabs have done to his physical body or wear it is buried Cohen was responsible for saving the lives of thousands of jews so his soul is safe.
